Venice on the Beach Hotel

Great location, no frills, budget friendly hotel. Tightly positioned amongst its neighbors. Hotel is solid in its exterior construction with no WiFi Internet access, expect challenges/limited cellular connection. Location offers many experiences in walking distance or rent a beach cruiser two minutes away. Would I stay there again, yes.

Staff was great. Cant beat the location! Super cool old school vibe that felt more like a homey bed and breakfast.

It’s right on the beach! Has a nice outside seating area. Reserved paid parking ($20, worth it!). Right around the corner from Washington Square. Location, beach, nice staff make this a great Venice Beach stay.

The location was perfect, the room was simple & clean, and staff was kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Location for Venice Beach was excellent. Right on the boardwalk and pictured. Walking distance to muscle beach and the heart of Venice as well as the canals. Our room was small with only the basics. Amenities in the room/bathroom were very bare essentials. Parking was convenient but only by reservation. I didn’t see that stated in the booking details so we were lucky to snag a spot. Staff was very friendly but not on site/available all hours.

Not exactly what we were expecting. Rooms were very small and need updating. It was right on the beach so if you’re going for that purpose and don’t plan to be in the hotel much it serves its purpose.

Beware! Pls dont be fooled. I will never recommend this hotel, and for the rate they charged is ridiculous. I can go on and on. We arrived late and no parking available they only have parking spot! We walked almost a mile to find a spot and pay The towels we have 2 wash towel, and 1 size of a floor towel rag rough enough to exfoliate yourself! The room is a total disaster. The bed has sand, the pillow case wasnt changed from the previous customer That I can literally smell the head and cologne that i had to use extra shirt I brought to cover the pillow! Amenities? NONE. Zero. I have booked for 3 nights and decided to check out the next day. Its a total disaster! I hate putting out this kind of reviews. And the worst part? They wont give a refund! I just dont know how ******* posted this as 9.2 out of 10 seriously??

The location is good, not amazing. The layout of the hotel was odd. There really is no lobby. I think I like having a lobby. No pool but an area in the sun where one could lay out a bit. Odd little water machine in the hall on my floor that gave warm water to drink, why? Room was a bit cramped, same with bathroom. Windows opened. Non view. Staff courteous and friendly. No elevator. Microwave in the hallway. Quirky. Clean.

Right on the beach and a block off Washington Street that offers many options for food and drink. Very close to Santa Monica and beautiful walks on the beach. Staff was very helpful and kind. We felt like it was a little gem.
