Sunshine Inn & Suites Venice, Florida

This hotel is actually an old motel. It’s the typical single story building where you park in front of your room. The pool pictured is in the parking lot but is very popular. I was impressed with the quality of my room. The rooms are well appointed with nice comfortable beds. My room had a very nice shower that had floor to ceiling tile. The AC worked great and it was a nice retreat after a long day. The price was right and overall I was impressed. It of course lacks the attributes of a hotel but was perfect for my needs.

We stayed for work and was good

I have worked in the hospitality industry for two decades. I can say for a motel I did not expect for the room to be put together as it was. We found this property last minute, and although we only stayed two days, one night. The staff is friendly, attentive, and ready to be of service. Upon arrival, the room had just been cleaned and was well put together. The beds are comfortable, and the ac worked well. The bath towels are also of good quality. The bathroom seems to have been updated and recently renovated. During the late hours of the night, a guest was playing their music pretty loud. I don't know if someone complained but I can say I didn't have enough time to call the front desk. I assume the hotel staff addressed this because there was no longer a noise disturbance again. Also, I want to mention they are located on a main road that has a ***** mall on the opposite side. The ***** mall has places to eat and some shopping. If you are looking for a quick, last-minute, reasonably priced place to stay, then I recommend this motel.

Very nice place, rooms are big and clean. Nice outdoor pool, close to shopping.

Nicely remodeled,up to date, good mattress. Would have liked a place to put wet beach towels.
