Veligandu Maldives Resort Island

My girlfriend and I stayed at Veligandu Resort last week to celebrate her birthday, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The resort is a stunning paradise, offering a relaxing and spacious environment with plenty of private areas to unwind. The natural beauty of the island, with its clean, crystal-clear beach waters, made every moment breathtaking. We stayed in both the sunset and sunrise rooms, and both were modern, comfortable, and impeccably designed. The infinity pool was a highlight, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. We spent every day swimming and snorkeling in the pristine waters, spotting a devil ray and a baby shark on one occasion, which was thrilling! However, we didn’t encounter them again during our snorkeling trips, nor did we spot any turtles, which was a slight disappointment. The staff truly made our stay exceptional. Our host, Maoly is always smiling, kind, and ready to assist. She gave us a warm introduction to the island, promptly answered all our questions, arranged seamless transport, and organized a memorable dining experience on our last night. We also joined the HIIT course, yoga sessions, and fitness challenge led by Coach Donny, who was friendly, encouraging, and made the activities so enjoyable. The food was delicious, with the grilled fish and calamari standing out as our favorites. That said, we’d love to see more variety in the menu, such as additional steak, and a wider range of seafood dishes. Incorporating more Asian-inspired options like Chinese, Japanese, or Korean cuisine, as well as Spanish dishes like seafood risotto, would elevate the dining experience even further. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to try the spa, but it would be fantastic if the all-inclusive plan could include a complimentary spa session to make the package even more enticing. Overall, Veligandu Resort exceeded our expectations, and we’re already looking forward to returning for another unforgettable stay. Highly recommend this slice of paradise to anyone seeking beauty, relaxation, and top-notch hospitality!

This is my second trip to the Maldives, and this time I chose Veligandu, which boasts an amazing lagoon view. The resort reopened after renovation in November last year, so everything on the island feels brand new. Both of the carte restaurants at the resort are fantastic, and I particularly love Restaurant R. There are net beds outside; lying there to enjoy the sea breeze after a meal is incredibly relaxing! Moreover, the butler Maoly arranged by the resort is wonderful. She's a lovely girl who takes great care of us, responds promptly to all our needs, and handles everything efficiently. I highly recommend the All-Inclusive (AI) meal plan, as it allows you to enjoy unlimited drinks and food at the bar too! The sea view from the room is beyond description. Even though the weather wasn't great during my stay, the lagoon still showcased a stunning beauty that took my breath away. I also strongly recommend the snorkeling trip at Wonder Rock, where you can spot sea turtles! All in all, it was a very satisfying trip!

It’s a second time visit and we feel upgrades of facilities and hospitality by the host Naveen and faculties. We appreciate the immediate reactions to the change of weather and guarantee of the flight transition. It’s always been a place of fantastic memories and picturesque sceneries.
