The hotel is in a fantastic location and the lady who welcomed us was warm and friendly – though she was the only staff member on duty, somehow juggling reception, front of house and the bar during one of the busiest weeks in August. Our room was small, with a very tight fit getting into the shower, but it was clean and had the bonus of air conditioning. The biggest disappointment was the swimming pool. On a sunny summer day, I was told there were no towels available to use it – surely a basic expectation for a hotel with a pool. Who brings their own towels to use a hotel pool? Strangely, I saw some guests with pool towels, but not enough to go around, which is poor. When I mentioned this politely the next morning to a different receptionist, I got nothing more than a shrug and no genuine apology. On checkout, no one asked whether my stay had been good or not, which says a lot about the level of service. For €200 a night, I expected better. Unfortunately, the lack of attention to guest experience overshadowed the positives.

L hotel est tres bien situé au sein du bois des fées, parc prive le long de la mer et du chemin des douaniers. Accueil parfait tant au téléphone pour la réservation qu au moment de l arrivée. Nous avions une grande chambre au rez-de-chaussée avec terrasse, nous pouvions même garer la voiture juste à côté, c était parfait, très confortable et très propre. Garage fermé utilisable pour les vélos, accès libre sur une grande piscine chauffée très agréable au milieu des pins. Acces libre par une porte privée directement sur le chemin des douaniers et sur la plage. Nous avons passés un excellent séjour. Je recommande vraiment cet hôtel plein de charme et de confort.

Bel hôtel situé dans un quartier privé ("Le domaine des fées"), agrémenté d'un parc très calme donnant sur le sentier des douaniers et la plage de Nauzan. La chambre, située dans l'annexe, sentait un peu le renfermé (les placards surtout) mais la literie était confortable et la salle de douche correcte. Un gros problème cependant : le parking est trop petit, vu le nombre de chambres et la taille des SUV !

Wonderful location, very quiet but only a short walk to the beach. Friendly welcome, lovely room, immaculately clean. Delicious breakfast. The hotel does not have a restaurant but for a top class dinner, I would highly recommend making the 20 minute walk to Le Cottage in Vaux sur Mer. Outstanding!

We were greeted very warmly and check in was very efficient. There is no lift but the very helpful man at reception offered to carry out bags.
I had a room with a terrace that was perfect, the terrace is huge, bed very comfortable and the bathroom looked newly renovated.
The breakfast was fine but a little bit overpriced for a modest continental breakfast, pastries fantastic though.
My room did not have a fridge but my friend was in a newer room and it did have one.
Location is great, 2 mins to the sea.
Overall very relaxing stay, thank you.
