We have just returned from a fabulous 6 days. Arriving late on Friday, a quick check-in and then a buggy up to room 750. Was given an upgrade to a Seaview suite, large and spacious, huge comfy bed. Our original booking was on the full board basis, but we upgraded to all inclusive. All drinks are premium brands. The food was great, the breakfast and buffet in Pangea had great choices and was plentiful. Huge thanks to Yiannis, looked after us so well. Now we had been worried about the sunbed situation but it was fine. The pool guys are great, you look after them, they will look after you. There are loads of sunbeds down on the Beach, the water is crystal clear and slightly warmer than the pools. The evenings were fairly quiet but we didn't mind that. We would pop down to the Beach house for drink as the sun goes down, the guys there are great. Big shout to Alex, so welcoming and always time to say hi. The Ocean bar is where we would end up at the end of the day, very chilled. Andreas was great, so knowledgeable when it came to cocktails, a couple of mornings with a sore head. We did visit Agios Nikolaos, stunning town. Overall we would highly recommend this beautiful resort, the staff, the service is exceptional.

Yes yes yes! This place is special! Had a room on street 7 private pool . It’s amazing—easy access to the funicular to get down to the main complex! The cove and the view are worth the price of admission! It’s true the pool loungers does get filled up quite quickly in the morning but we headed down to the beach daily at around 11 and never had trouble finding a set of chairs and spending the rest of the day in and out of the crystal clear water. The beach does get fairly windy depending on time of day but it ruined nothing for us! Food wise we were upgraded to full board on a special on Mr and Mrs smith. It was amazing three course lunch with an iced freddo cappuccino after? Yes please. The buffet was good lots of choice but for us, the ambience there was lacking. Felt a bit too canteen-ish for the lux nature of the rest of the place. I’m not really sure what you do to fix that? Maybe lower the level of light a bit to start? But it certainly didn’t ruin anything for us! The only drawback for us was dinner at Ocean one night when we decided not to do the buffet and treat ourselves. For the price it was not worth it. A salad of raw veggies with an orange vinaigrette was not worth the 20 something euro paid. Nether was the pasta that was well cooked but had a few pieces of rabbit and a mayo-based sauce. The food at the buffet was much better so we happily ate there for the rest of the week! Don’t let that put you off though ever since lunch we had at the beach bar was absolutely stellar. It’s very rare that during a holiday we actively look online to see about booking again next year, and we did exactly that here at Daios Cove. We’ll be back!

Giving 1 star to this resort, it's seems that you don't know what luxury means. Daios Cove offers top-notch service and culinary. Everything was amazing and delicious. We loved this place and the staff, always with a smile and ready to assist us with any request. We will sure come back ❤️

Ich war für 14 Tage im Hotel Daios Cove auf Kreta. 6 Wochen zuvor hatte ich mir bei einem Radunfall die Schulter ausgekugelt und konnte meinen Arm nicht mehr als 90 Grad nach vorne und 100 Grad zur Seite anheben. Im sehr gut ausgestatteten Fitnessstudio, in dem sogar eine Kältekammer mit -85 Grad zur schnelleren Regeneration vorhanden ist, traf ich den zuständigen Leiter „Tanasiss“. Eigentlich wollte ich nur etwas Radfahren. Er half mir ungefragt bei den Einstellungen des Trimmrades und merkte schnell etwas von meinen Schulterproblemen und machte ein paar Übungen mit mir und untersuchte dabei meine Schulter. In Folge schlug „Tanasiss“ mir vor ein paar persönliche Trainerstunden bei ihm zu buchen. Bei diesen Terminen merkte ich schnell, wie kompetent er als Physiotherapeut war. Nach nur 3 Terminen bei ihm konnte ich meinen Arm wieder 170 Grad nach vorne und zur Seite anheben, sogar die Hände wieder hinter dem Kopf verschschränken. Mein Therapeut zu Hause hatte nur wenig bewegt. Ich kann den BXR Gym im Daios Cove mit seinem Trainer Tanasiss zu 100% empfehlen, auch wenn es mal irgendwo schmerzt oder die Muskeln verspannt sind hilft Tanasiss weiter.

Most of the room balcony's did not get any sun when I was there, which leaves the bedrooms dark and gloomy. We had a private pool, which was not heated, the sun did not get to it to warm it up - an expense we paid extra for, and could not use. We did complain, but there was genuinely not any rooms they could move us to, which had a better sun experience. As no one wants to hang around their dismal rooms, the sun beds at pool / beach were all taken, and not easy to find an available one. Everything is very expensive, 6 euros for a coke, 8 euros for a bottle of small beer, 50 euros for lunch. Very misleading, in relation to the the sun on balconies, I would not return.

Het heerlijkste fijnste en vriendelijkste resort ooit. Verborgen in een prachtige baai met een geweldig privé strand. Top verzorging vraag de de vraag gesteld waar wilt u liggen en hoeveel handdoeken wilt u hebben …… service 100 Restaurants stuk voor stuk top. Ook daar weer bediening 100 Kamers of villa’s, allemaal zeer schoon en comfortabel. Was er in mei en oktober en het voelde als thuiskomen. Eigenlijk is dit resort te goed om door te vertellen.

Zum dritten Mal sind wir nun in diesem wunderschönen Hotel. Die Anlage ist wirklich toll und die Bucht für mich eine der schönsten auf Kreta. Zu empfehlen ist definitiv all in zu buchen, da man so in den Genuss kommt, alle Restaurants mit den kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten zu besuchen. Das Buffetrestaurant Pangea ist qualitativ auch sehr gut, aber leider zu ungemütlich und laut. Es gibt zwar dort auch einen Adults only Bereich, aber auch dieser ist sehr ungemütlich und laut. Die Geräuschekulisse ist für uns auch das einzige Manko im Hotel. Wir haben selber 3 Kinder großgezogen und haben natürlich auch nichts gegen Kinder. Dennoch wünsche ich mir in dieser Hotel- und Preiskategorie zumindest die Möglichkeit, auch Ruhezonen am Strand bzw. im wunderschönen Beachclub. Leider gibt es diese nicht. Somit resultiert daraus, dass extrem viel Kindergeschrei und überaufgeregte Eltern, die Ruhesuchenden doch ziemlich beeinträchtigen. Die Bucht ist nicht riesig, trotzdem würde es durchaus funktionieren, das Areal in Familien- und Adults only Bereich zu trennen.

Sehr schöne weitläufige Anlage die mit Golf Carts und Cable Cars erschlossen wird. Gepflegt und sauber. Das Personal ist gut ausgebildet und sehr freundlich. Sehr schöner Sandstrand. Genügend Liegen und Schirme. Gutes Essen. Kinderfreundlich und wir fanden das gut.
