Daios Cove

Our stay at Daios Cove was absolutely exceptional — truly one of the best holiday experiences we’ve ever had. 💫 The location is breathtaking. Nestled in a private cove with stunning sea views, the atmosphere is both luxurious and peaceful. The sunsets were unforgettable, and the whole resort has a serene, relaxing vibe with beautifully maintained grounds. 🍽️ The food was a real highlight of our stay. The à la carte restaurants were fantastic — especially Taverna and Ocean, where every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and made with top-quality ingredients. Taverna offered authentic Greek cuisine in a warm and welcoming setting, while Ocean served refined Mediterranean dishes with an amazing sea view. Every meal felt like a special occasion. 💎 The staff were kind, attentive, and truly made us feel at home. Special thanks to Angelika and Ilyas, who were both incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Also, we are very grateful to manager Kirill, who was extremely professional and supportive — he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His assistance made our experience even more enjoyable. 🏖️ The beach was clean and peaceful, with comfortable loungers and crystal-clear water. The service was excellent, and the cocktails and drinks served at the beach were absolutely delicious — perfectly refreshing and beautifully prepared. Daios Cove is the perfect blend of luxury, nature, and warm hospitality. We left completely relaxed and are already looking forward to coming back.

This was our second year staying at Daios Cove, and once again it exceeded all expectations – thanks in large part to the outstanding service from Kirill. From the moment we arrived, Kirill made us feel truly welcome and taken care of. His attention to detail, warm professionalism, and genuine care turned our stay into something truly special. It’s rare to meet someone so dedicated to creating memorable experiences for guests, and we are so grateful for everything he did for us.

We went to Daios Cove with my partner's family to celebrate his Dad's birthday. The resort is lovely with grand marble entryways, infinity views, and well-appointed rooms with glorious air-conditioning. We had his Dad's birthday at the Ocean restaurant and the food and service was truly exquisite. Another evening, my partner had a lovely surprise for me where we dined at the Rho restaurant overlooking the Med and he asked me to marry him. The staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND, particularly Panos from the guest relations team, to make this a special moment for us. The flowers on the table were hand-picked from the resort and we were sent a note with their purpose and symbolism - a truly touching sentiment from the staff. In addition, they gifted us some beautiful champagne and fruit to celebrate the moment. Panos, again, even managed to catch the proposal on video. I will never forget this evening and I am extremely grateful for the staff who worked behind the scenes to make it happen. On top of this, Panos secured us two seats for a masterclass event with Chef Angel Leon the next day. We would love to return again, and an extra thank you to Panos. This was a beautiful trip and I will never forget this special evening.

On arrival we were offered a soft drink then taken to our villa. We were told the mini fridge was not stocked as part of their commitment to the environment. We were then able to order drinks, including an unlimited number of plastic bottles of water so this seems to make no sense. It would have been more welcoming to have an assortment of drinks in the fridge. We were very happy with the larger bedroom apart from the shower. We had to climb into the bath to have a shower. It was a steep step, no hand rails and the floor of the bath was uneven. I did not feel safe doing this so often used the outside shower but the wind blew the water. The downstairs room which my children were staying in was very small and the position of the bedside table meant they were unable to open the wardrobe. After my second request the bedside table was moved to the corner of the room but as the lamp was then placed on the floor this wasn’t an ideal solution. The sunbeds were very close to the edge of the pool making it difficult to walk past them. There was no full length mirror in the villa. The breakfast buffet at Pangea was very good but the service was poor. We regularly waited for our water glasses to be refilled and the coffees took some time to come. We attended all the restaurants but for a 9 night stay there was a very repetitive menu. The raw restaurant really wasn’t to our taste. Again, the service was often slow and I spent a lot of time trying to get the attention of the waiting staff. I found the funicular very irritating given there wasn’t an easy alternative route around the resort. It was very slow and not able to cope with the volume of people using it. The adults only pool was very small and as it is adjacent to the main pool used by children wasn’t particularly relaxing and I only managed to get a bed there twice during my stay. I was also irritated at having to pay for gym classes. 30 euros is steep and there was a limited number of classes. I also found it unacceptable that we had to pay to use the spa facilities. There were also only 4 gym mats. The gym was very well equipped otherwise. For the price charged the service was very disappointing, I would not return, Ikos do it so much better.
