Stayed a couple of nights whilst on business, Hotel was in a word "different" but lovely, Inside very industrial but slightly dark. First room i had was in the main building on the 10th floor absolutely fantastic with a view over the lake single bed but very comfortable, had to move to a "turbine" room for the second night and this was not as nice as i must have been near one of the bars and the music could be heard well into the night. Food in the hotel was lovely especially breakfast. Did not use the leisure facilities but did make a visit to the rooftop bar. what a view. Would i stop again its a definite yes

I wanted to like this hotel, but a bad combination of delayed a dinner service, a dark room with NO window at all, and bar staff that were rude, arrogant, and wrong, was such a let down. It would have been so easy to fix... Would not recommend this hotel.

If you are looking for a well priced hotel with a luxury feel, you should definitely come here. The atmosphere and staff felt like in a 5 star hotel, and everything was very close to the Kokpunkten waterpark. The views from the SPA pool were also amazing and while it was quite windy in the outdoor pool, the water was warm so you barely felt anything.

Another try at Steam Hotel and this time as well I am not impressed. We came to the room and the third bed was not made and there were no towels for the third person even though we booked a three bedroom for three people. We also choose the late dinner time and therefor booked a late karaoke time. When we got our time for dinner it was much earlier meaning our karaoke time was too late. This visit was okay because of our package and the food at the top floor but there always seem to be some sort of problem when coming here.

Great value for money. Comfortable and clean room, helpful staff. Room includes hair dryer and iron which is helpful. Would book again. The only thing is that they overbooked their restaurant and spa, which caused crowds, and made it difficult to fully enjoy the facilities. Breakfast was an hour long activity not because we wanted it to be but because it took that long to get through the crowd to get a piece of toast and lukewarm coffee. Also, the inclusive package with three course dinner does not include tea or coffee after dinner, despite free coffee and tea being served 20 meters away at the other end of the lobby, and the waitress had to cross the room to get a tea bag from the lobby to then charge me for it, so it wasn’t a special brand or different mug even. Seemed a bit silly.

Unbelievably Great Renovation of a Power Plant
The Steam Hotel is unbelievable. I did not expect such a great facility. We were in Vasteras to visit our son who is studying there, and I booked this hotel with my fingers crossed. Staying at the Steam Hotel was a great experience and if our son stays in Vasteras we will stay there again.
