We moved from the beach villa to our overwater jacuzzi water villa with ease
Upon reaching the room, we loved the view where you'll be able to see sunrise on the left side and the sunset on the right of it.
Tried out the jacuzzi pool, swam around our overwater villa throughout the afternoon. We brought bread from the meals and fed the fishes that were always around the villa. During low tide, you could even stand in the water under the overwater villa with fishes swimming around you, all the time. Once in a while, you may see a solo nurse shark swim nearby.
The pictures taken are so Instagram-able . Really enjoyed our stay at this resort.
After meals, will play at the pool table, air hockey, play darts and table futsal. My son also paid a visit to the gym. There is an Ameera Spa just behind the main dining hall.

We’ve just returned from paradise. Cocogiri was amazing. Without exception all the staff were outstanding, under the excellent leadership of Tina. The food was varied and delicious, all freshly cooked. We had our best holiday ever and we will definitely be going back.

Wow what a holiday, the resort was our own piece of paradise. Tina and the team of staff make you feel so welcome and can’t do enough for you. There is just the one buffet restaurant but the choices and quality is excellent with changes to the buffet everyday. Local drinks are fine and if you want to extend the cocktail choice try the mocktails and add a shot of vodka or rum. We stayed in a water villa, these are spacious and easy access straight onto the amazing reef, we snorkelled everyday and sometimes twice a day and were never disappointed. I can honestly say we didn’t want to leave.

We chose this island at the last minute after changing our original and so glad we did! Absolutely beautiful island and the people just as beautiful. Cannot do enough for you. Food lovely! Drinks great, shoes optional. Really lovely friendly relaxed island. I had a slight accident whilst I was there and the instant care I received was amazing and I thank all concerned. Would will go back? 100%

What a lovely peaceful island. The whole team were accommodating and I was so lucky to have Tina the manager look after all my food intolerances. We loved our room which was a beach front villa 118 which was a perfect location from a privacy point of view, the sunsets were outstanding. The watersports crew were just as helpful and we were lucky to have excellent snorkel experiences and swam with turtles. The only point I would make is the selection of drinks for the all inclusive. This is very limited and no cocktails, lots of syrups to choose from. I was there for my 50th birthday and the couples massage from the spa was great. Nice air conditioned gym which we used daily, the island is so small it took us 4 minutes to walk around on a slow pace. Staff were really friendly and chilled out, housekeeping was great. All in all a fantastic 50th

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cocogiri Island Resort for 3 nights in May 2025. My daughter Vinusha who is nine years old absolutely loved the place and she has penned heartfelt note about the place - I am attaching the same I would recommend this place for any person for a relaxed stay

Paradise is Cocogiri. A truly amazing place that is stunning from every angle. Morning or night. If you want the best relaxing or busy holiday it's here. Great food and friendly polite staff. The sea is the star, warm and crystal clear, make sure you pack a snorkel mask.

What can I stay that's not already been said about Cocogirl?, This place is just amazing . Cocogirl was our second Maldives experience, staying in an overwater villa with pool. This is a very quiet and beautifully maintained island, and I would not hesitate to go back. Tina and her team work tirelessly to ensure you have an enjoyable time. 10/10 thank you.

It would be hard to score this resort less than a 5/5 as it’s located in the paradise that is the Maldives. Great reef, great food, friendly staff and all the other good stuff. There are areas where improvements could be made on the maintenance and update front. For example a crack in the window and some rotten woodwork on the outside of our water villa. I get that it’s a lot to keep on top of but they’re charging five star prices so it should all be five star! You would seriously struggle to not enjoy a stay here but would we return? I’m not 100% sure!
