Good value for $$ but just adequate for the heart
Firstly, I question the 4-stars that hang outside this Varese Hotel. In life it is often better to undersell one’s greatness and on this occasion the fact that it does not deserve its stars plagued us. Now if it had subtracted one of this merits we would have been happier with our stay. Let’s cherish our rating system.
Everything about this hotel is just OK. Worth the price I suppose. It just doesn’t seem to want to be anything special.
There is no kettle or coffee station in the room and the fridge looked sad and somewhat mouldy. Location is good. Right on the edge of the lovely old town. The service is adequate.
I want more than adequate or someone that would hope to be more than adequate.
On a more positive note, the breakfast spread is really good!!
All in all, good value for $$ but not for the heart.

The hotel is old and noisy. There is a nightclub next to it, with loud music until late. Limited parking facility.

Pratique et au centre ville. Rapport qualité prix bon. Le ménage est très bien fait. Il y a un parking pour 15h par tranche de 24h. La réception et les petits déj sont au top. Il y a cependant pas mal de bruit lorsqu'on est côté route. (alarme de voiture, personnes qui parlent tard dans la nuit et de manière assez fortes).
