Wunderschön gelegen am ruhigen Lago Varese findet sich dieses Hotel mit gutem Restaurant. Unser Zimmer hatte einen schönen Blick auf den Lago, der vor allem von sportlichen Ruderern gern besucht wird. Die Zufahrtstraße endet hier, es ist sehr ruhig. Für Motorradfahrer noch etwas Besonderes: Direkt nebenan ist die Zentrale von Cagiva und der berühmten Marke MV Augusta. Es gibt aber nicht viel zu sehen, das Gelände ist gut gesichert ... Nun, interessanter auf jeden Fall das Ristorante. Auf der Terrasse zum See schmeckt der Aperitif, das Abendessen wird bei gutem Wetter im gemütlichen Garten eingenommen, unter Bäumen und Schirmen, die Schatten spenden. Das Restaurant wird zurecht sehr gut besucht! Monatlich wechselnd wird eine Menükarte angeboten. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und konnten aus der Karte wählen, sehr angenehm. Die Weinauswahl ist ebenfalls im besten Sinne ausreichend und fair kalkuliert. Gutes Frühstück.

Ho deciso di andare con mio figlio a Varese, lui per lavoro e io per passare una giornata di svago. Per il pranzo su consiglio di colleghi siamo stati indirizzati a questo ristorante. La location molto suggestiva. Una versione moderna di una toppia un pergolato con una tenda bianca così ne foglie o altro cadeva sui tavoli. Vicino al lago e senza rumori. Il menù proposta era vario e invitante. I due chef senza dubbio molto bravi e accurati nella lavorazione dei prodotti e nella presentazione dei piatti. Mio figlio ha optato per un piatto unico risotto con pesce di lago mentre io ho optato per una battuta di carne con albicocca e zenzero fantastica. Dessert ottimi. Prezzo in linea con il servizio e i piatti serviti.

Zufällig fanden wir auf der Anreise nach Korsika dieses Hotel im Internet. Die Freundlichkeit beim 1.Kontakt am Telefon wurde vor Ort vom gesamten Personal bestätigt. Sehr gutes Zimmer mit einem tollen Bad, Das Restaurant auf unerwartet hohem Niveau und mit einem ausgezeichneten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Hervorzuheben ist noch der große Außenbereich und die Lage direkt am See.

Leider kam die Reise wegen der Airline nicht zustande. Das Hotel selber war in dem ganzen Chaos, bis ich dann doch stornieren musste, wirklich freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Varese selbst soll für mich wohl nicht sein. Sollte ich aber doch irgendwann nochmal den Versuch unternehmen, werde ich hier nochmals buchen. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft und die gute Kommunikation
