Country Inn Goa Varca Beach - 2 Minutes Walk to the Beach

I recently stayed at Country Inn Tarika, Varca, and while its proximity to Varca Beach is its biggest (and only) advantage, the hotel itself leaves much to be desired. The rooms were dark, dingy, and had a musty smell, making them feel unclean and poorly maintained. The beds were wobbly and felt damp, with terrible pillows that offered no comfort. The hot water situation was frustrating, as each room had a tiny geyser that barely provided enough hot water for a quick shower, making it inconvenient, especially if multiple people were staying in the room. The pool was not maintained well, with dirty and smelly water, making it completely unappealing. The food options were limited and underwhelming, so eating at the hotel was not a great experience. The only real reason to consider staying here is its location—just 300 meters from Varca Beach, one of Goa’s best and cleanest beaches. Regardless of the weather, you can easily walk there without needing transportation. If you’re looking for a cheap place to just sleep near the beach and plan to eat all your meals elsewhere, this hotel is a decent budget option. Otherwise, it’s better to spend a little more for a more comfortable and well-maintained stay.

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. The walls were damp, covered in peeling paint and mold, making the entire room smell like a swamp. The so-called swimming pool was a disgusting mosquito breeding ground, filled with moss and stagnant water. There was no refrigerator or intercom, making even the simplest requests a nightmare. Water supply was frequently disconnected, leaving us without a shower or even a flush. The curtains were burnt, adding to the eerie, abandoned feel. The entire room reeked of rot and neglect. Avoid this place unless you enjoy misery and filth!

Excellent staff with knowledge about there responsibility. Excellent property view. If you are looking for family time yes good to choose property. But concern about food in breakfast.. very limited option they need to improve on this..
