Average hotel with advantage of property located in front of river bank. You can have nice sun rice view from hotel itself. Room service is average.

The hotel provides minimal amenities: a room, a bed, and hot water. Its only advantage is its location on the bank of the river ganga near to assi ghat.

A very disappointing experience!
This hotel is well located but that is where the good news stops! service is terrible, rooms are spacious but not maintained well. we had to ask for soap and toilet paper (which were then given to us) and for shampoo (which was not- we were asked to buy it from nearby shops). there was a bad smell in the toilet. Kitchen was extremely dirty- one would not like to eat any breakfast after having a look there. workers do not keep good hygiene. Altogether- not a place to stay. KEEP AWAY!!

I stayed for 6 nights through a travel agency. The staff were all very kind. Since it's a little away from the city center, the environment is peaceful and quiet, which was great. Being in front of the Ganges River, the view is wonderful, and I highly recommend it to those who want to enjoy the Ganges at a relaxed pace. It's also close to Assi Ghat, so there are many stylish and calm cafes and restaurants, which is another great aspect.

Hotel Ganga Monastery is place where you can Relax and enjoy your holidays ! Excellent location on just bank of river Ganges ! You can enjoy sunrise from room itself ! It is fantastic place to stay ! Staff are very humble and friendly !! Highly recommend !! Enjoy
