The resort environment is very beautiful. However, there are many ants and mosquitoes in the room. Why not spray some insecticide to clean it before we check in? Fortunately, we can ask the waiter to bring insecticide spray and spray it again. . The floor drain in the bathroom where I lived was broken. When I took a shower, the water was flushed and there was a strong smell. Many small black bugs crawled out of the floor drain. This was very bad.

For a start its about 30miles or 45mins up a dusty unfinished bumpy road...not where the map indicates. I thought it was some kind of scan until trip.com called them and eventually after going to a mobile phone shop to help call them to find location ( not on google or booking) we got receprions whatsapp number. It turns out rhat they dont use trip.com much and focus on agoda. When we arrived they had sold my room but gave me another...very awesome place. Some pretty nutty fun people in the open air restaurant. Its in a much better more rural location than the town hotels. Waking up to the corn fields is amazing.

We spent 3 nights at this property and have somewhat mixed feelings. Starting with the positives: The property is set in an incredible natural environment. We had a room with a mountain view and watched cows and buffaloes in the rice field from our terrace each day. Truly wonderful! The restaurant area is beautifully designed, very Instagram-worthy—one of the nicest accommodations we’ve stayed at. Unfortunately, the property is quite far from the center of Vang Vieng, about a 35-minute scooter ride. This can be exhausting, especially since the property doesn’t rent or help with arranging transportation. There was also no information about transport to the property, and we ended up paying a small fortune for the transfer from the train station. The food at the restaurant is delicious, but unfortunately, prices are quite steep. It’s important to keep in mind that there aren’t many dining options nearby. I think this accommodation is ideal for people who want to relax and stay in one place, enjoying nature. However, I wouldn’t recommend Angsavanh for young and active travelers looking to see as much of Vang Vieng as possible.

We stayed at Vang Vieng Garden Villa for 3 nights. The positive experience started with a complimentary pick-up from the train station. The bungalow was clean and of good size and the shower was hot. The 5 bungalows are in a quiet area about 3 km north of Vang Vieng. The staff is very helpful and arranged motorcycle hire for us. They can also assist with purchase of train tickets or hire of kayaks. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and we recommend staying at Vang Vieng Garden Villa.

Magnificent hotel in an equally beautiful setting. Welcoming and charming staff. Very beautiful bungalows with good bedding. Decent restaurant with an average breakfast. Unfortunately everything goes wrong at the end of the day. We spent 2 nights there. On the first evening, a group of 8 young Thais had dinner (they had their own BBQ) all evening in front of our bungalow with loud Thai music (they had their own speaker). They were drugged and drunk. We went to warn the staff. They told us that it was allowed until 10 p.m. and offered us another bungalow away from it, which we accepted. The next day they had left but the same thing happened again in the evening: a new group of Thais just as well equipped as those from the day before had a blast until at least midnight. The staff offered us another room again, which we refused. Too bad because this hotel has real potential but strange rules and not in keeping with its style.
