The hotel looks good from the outside, and Laos is like this. When in Rome, do as the Romans do.

Very pleasant stay at the Annecy Hotel.
Very good service. The rooms are clean and spacious.
Breakfast is included and plentiful.
Go up to the rooftop to see the hot air balloons in the morning.
The pool is open late.
I will return the next time I'm in Vang Vieng.

Apparently, cleaning will be done if you go to the front desk by 2:00 PM. When I went to the front desk to ask about any amenities I was missing, they prepared them right away! It was a good deal to have meals included for this price.
