Vanderburgh County Hotels with Wi-Fi

First time ever in Evansville, so I didn’t know what to expect. The location is right off the Lloyd “Expressway” (I use that term loosely), on the western edge of the city. Despite the expressway not exactly being so, it’s not that far of a drive to downtown, maybe ten minutes, depending on traffic and lights. There are several restaurants near the hotel, and a movie theater in walking distance. I arrived early just after 10AM not expecting a room, but George (I think that’s his name), found one and allowed me to check in. He was very friendly and welcoming, a nice start to the experience. On the way up to the room, I notice the place has an older style, possibly 1990s. It’s possible it was something else beforehand. The halls were clean, and so was the room when I did check in. Bathroom is typical size, TV has a decent selection, bed is comfortable, and area is very quiet. The AC does its job keeping the place cool. The only issue is the ever too present weak water pressure found so often in hotels. Breakfast was in grab n go bags, due to the virus. Coffee was available in the room. Pool is the average size, but there is no spa. There was at one time- you can clearly see where it was. Not sure why they took it out of commission. Not sure if my travels will take me to a Evansville again, but if so, I will stay here.

From the moment we walked in until the time we left the service was nothing short of stellar the property is exceptionally clean the floors are so clean you could eat off of them our housekeeper Mercedes was absolutely astonishing I’d like to hire her to clean my own home the front desk staff Darrell was absolutely incredible as well made us feel welcome from the time we checked in the general manager John worked his tail off to take care of his property he was busy serving breakfast on Sunday himself this hotel should be the mark of what all hotels should pay great job John and great job staff we have a new home in Evansville Indiana and it’s the Drury Inn and Suites

I recently stayed at this Marriott hotel for 11 days while on business from Florida. My experience was truly exceptional, as the staff were incredibly generous and accommodating. The evening staff member who handled food and drinks in the lobby was particularly impressive. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in, and I travel extensively, spending around 180 nights a year in hotels. The property was immaculate, and my room was spotless. I have no criticisms of this hotel; it was outstanding in every way.

I have been working in Evansville since October and have stayed at this hotel since I started checking in Sunday evenings and checking out Friday mornings. The front desk staff have alway been helpful and friendly. Hotel is very clean.

It was the night of my 50th birthday. The room was GREAT! I HAD A ROOM IN THE CORNER WHERE YOU COULD SEE THE OHIO RIVER BUT I GOT IN REALLY LATE SO SLEEP WAS THE FOCUD AND THE BED FELT GREAT! ROOM WAS VERY BIG WITH SOME SEPARATION TO THE COUCH AND TV AREA! LOVED IT. BE MINDFUL IT SAYS RIVER VIEW ON THESE ROOMS BUT NOT ALL ARE!

I stayed at this HGI 9/15-9/18 and will definitely use this location anytime i am back in the area. The room was clean, tidy and smelled fresh. Very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The housekeeping staff are exceptional and you can see they take pride in their role. The location is great; next to the Texas Roadhouse is walking distance. Was not disappointed at all!
