The front desk clerk was able to upgrade our room with a sofa (suite) since we are 3 adults and 1 kid, the published room here in the app was “Double Queen Size Bed” only to find out that its not a double (2 beds in total) but its only 1 bed and a double size only.

**Disclaimer** This hotel should have a disclaimer-  DO NOT BOOK here if you’re not a person who wants to stay up till 4AM at night.  Please do not underestimate how loud the music will be from the night club.  (General staff are very kind (they’re put into an awkward situation by the owners and night club ) and facilities are clean)

We booked two double rooms for our trip in Vancouver. The location is good but the rooms have an awful smell because of the old carpets. They are obviously not maintained very well. The lobby and the hallway are clean. Guests must bring extra sleepers for bathroom use.

Only fixed shower head is provided with low water pressure, no sound proof and I found a big ant in the bed. Following items are not provided: body liquid soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers, movable shower head, universal/usb electric ports

The room was very small. It has an old smell. Bathroom has no exhaust. The carpet looks old and dirty. I should have stayed in a better, newer hotels for the money I paid for my stay in this hotel.

The room looked like it was recently redone so it was clean with comfortable bed with white towels. Upon check in reception stated we did not have breakfast included and that a deposit of $100 was required but I would receive it back within 2-3 days on my c. card. I already prepaid online for the room which was $386 with taxes I later checked my voucher and it did say we had a breakfast for 2 so I brought it down in the reception gave us 2 breakfast vouchers. Breakfast cost is $15 per person minus 20% as a hotel guest normally. The breakfast does not include drinks only water. There was bacon, scrambled eggs, pan cakes, bread for toasting and hash browns. I went to the hotel reception and retrieved coffee & tea from the reception machine. Upon check out the gentleman now at reception said a $200 deposit charge would be refunded in 2-3 weeks! I asked why so long as I can get my money on a store return in a day!?! He didn’t have a clear answer. Anyways, I guess I’ll have to wait and ensure it does go on. I’m not sure why such a big deposit charged and why it would take weeks to refund…something fishy on this part but we’ve been there and can’t change it. However , I am dubious to use Choice Hotels - Quality Inn & Suites again since it seemed inconsistent as to the staff knowing why they charge a high amount and the return time. I also had booked a Choice Hotel for our return home and had put the incorrect date in by one day. They would not modify it and only cancelled it and still charged me! So their billing is skcetchy to me and that was my dealing with 2 of their Choice Hotel units

Not recommended at all My wife got stuck in Elevator for more than 40 mins Hotel manager was not not able to help For 30 minutes no one helped and then we made a call to 911 and got support in 10 minutes and wife got reduced by fire department after opening tge lift forcefully Stay away from this place , not recomended at all
