Stayed at this hotel again after returning from a trip to Big Bend National Park. This time I felt much better because there was no smell. Breakfast is pretty good for an American hotel.

Terrible staff, I came here because they had electric car charging and a hottub listed on trip advisor and Apple Maps, neither are true. The hot tub and pool are closed as is the elevator. Front Desk staff was rude when I asked about the above listed amenities.

We will definitely stay at this hotel again if we are passing through again! Everything was clean in the room, in the lobby, in the hallways, and the exterior. The room had everything we needed and was in great condition. Really good shower, good, blackout curtains, had a mini fridge, and an AC that can be adjusted. Even had a good TV! There are plugs and USB charging ports right on the wall on each side of the bed that are so convenient. It was quiet, as well. The front desk staff was always helpful and courteous and happy to be at work. They had a good breakfast selection, but not gluten-free and vegan options besides oatmeal. But otherwise they had a great selection! They have a free grab bag to-go that had water and apple and other snacks in it.

Not many hotels to choose from in Van Horn. Hampton Inn was ok once inside. Not great but Ok. Our room was clean but hallway had strange cooking odors. Room and bathroom were clean. The exterior and grounds looked horrible and trashy. Bent signs, trashy grill by side of hotel, landscaping was all dead, trash just laying around. I realize the pool and spa were being renovated but when we drove up, we had serious second thoughts about staying there and we weren’t sure the hotel was even open. Staff was friendly and breakfast was the Hampton standard. Our room would not darken even with the blackout shade. Giant spotlights illuminate the side of the hotel and one was right outside our window. Side entrance doors were not secure at night. Does not meet the Hilton standards most people would expect but is ok in a pinch of your tired and must stop.

This is a lovely hotel in a small town in far west Texas. There are several hotels here because it is isolated and a long distance from other towns. It appears to be recently updated. The carpet in the halls looks new and the flooring in the room was very nice. I loved that the shower was a walk-in shower instead of a tub shower. They are so much safer. The water pressure was outstanding. Breakfast in the morning was very good. The warm items were potatoes, cheese omelets and bacon. Who doesn’t love bacon? The dining area was clean and the attendant was very friendly. The entire staff was very friendly. Everyone I passed in the reception, halls or breakfast room greeted us. I would definitely recommend this Hampton Inn.

The staff was very friendly. Room was clean and did not have the smell of Fabreze that many hotels over use. Breakfast was basic but hot and delicious. We had egg white frittata, smoked sausage and fries potatoes. They had waffles, cereal, different breads. yogurt, and other fruit juices if that is what you’re interested in. I thought it was a good value.

The Buckhorn Inn never disappoints. The staff members are always friendly and helpful. Debbie (in the front office)is very efficient, friendly and is always willing to take time to answer any questions. The dinners (especially the soups and homemade breads) were excellent. We always look forward to the Buckhorn.

Well maintained, super clean, beautiful property. Staff is kind and helpful. Rooms are well laid out, comfortable and pristine. Food for breakfast was out of this world. This is away from the highway and relatively quiet and peaceful. Internet worked fantastic. I travel quite a bit and this was one of my favorite hotel stays ever. Highly recommend.

Digital check in was smooth, room was ready when we arrived. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, nice shower and amenities. Nicole was great she offered cookies when we walked in and told us what time breakfast was. Parking lot was well lit.
