The environment of the Maldives hotels is beautiful and the service is also very good! But there are some details that I’m not happy to share: 1. Indians like to go to this island very much, so the overall flavor of the food on the island can be imagined! 2. The wind and waves around the island are very strong, the water is very desolate and there are no corals and fish, so it is not suitable for snorkeling. 3. The charges are very expensive, a bottle of mini Coke costs US$8, and a ton of rice is basically around US$500! 4. The service of the aquatic center is very poor. We had high hopes and usually enjoy the Marriott brand and were super excited for our vacation but the resort definitely fell short of our expectations. Our villa was clean but dated and needed repairs. The attention to detail was not there and the waters were rough and a bit dangerous. Overall we felt pretty disappointed for the price we paid and wish we stayed at a different resort. Marriott definitely needs to work on their customer service too, the ac system also was not functioning properly which was not good and very important. This definitely did not feel like a jw Marriott - I think it’s an okay choice if you have no other options and price is right but we wish we had stayed elsewhere.

The hotel was amazing, like paradise, we felt so confortable. All the crew member made us felt so well, they were so warm and very kind with us. We were definetley had the time of our life’s there, we were so happy to choose Maldives as a honey moon destination.

Unwind and Rejuvenate in Maldives, at the tiny, but truly paradise island called Van'gaaru, Shaviyani Atoll. Managed by JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa, here, despite it's size, is everything what you need: amazing views, wonderful staff, delicious local tropical food. Absolutely favorite, the best of the best place to be on vacation

Наш визит в тайский ресторан Kaashi оказался полным кошмаром. Во время ужина мы с отвращением обнаружили крысу прямо рядом с нами. Это зрелище сильно напугало наших детей и вызвало у нас сильное отвращение. Один из сотрудников отеля также стал свидетелем этого. Несмотря на наши жалобы менеджерам, никто ничего не предпринял !!. Вечер был испорчен!! Такое пренебрежение к гостям абсолютно недопустимо!!!Мы ожидали гораздо большего от заведения такого уровня, остались крайне разочарованы и возмущены. Ни в коем случае не рекомендуем этот отель! Мы обязательно сообщим о случившемся в головной офис Marriott.
