Ein sehr charmantes, wunderschönes Hotel direkt am Luganer See mit eigenem Badesteg. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, die Bäder bequem, das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der Garten ist hinreißend, dort kann man frühstücken, mittags und abends essen. Unbedingt die Garage vorbestellen, es gibt sonst keine Parkplätze. Das Essen ist ganz gut, nichts Besonderes. Ich empfehle Egli-Fisch oder Pasta. Das Dessert ist sehr gut.

We really liked this hotel. The people were very nice the restaurant was very good and it is in a beautiful location. If you are looking at staying in a peaceful area away from the chaos of Lugano this is it.

Ne pas s’arrêter sur la façade de l’hôtel qui donne sur la rue. Aucune chambre de ce côté là, elles donnent toutes sur le lac, avec une vue bien sympathique. Bon accueil. Dîner et petit déjeuner bien agréables sous la tonnelle.

Charming hotel by the lake. Worth every cent!
Wonderful and charming hotel by the lake, with an amazing history.
Our room had a private balcony with a view to the lake and courtyard. Breathtaking!
Service was excellent. Breakfast was simple but good, but if you want a real cappuccino, you have to pay and order at the bar, which we didn’t mind. Otherwise you have the automatic machine next to the breakfast buffet which we didn’t like.
There’s parking on the premises, however, be advised that it’s €15 per day. Worth it.
The hotel is in Valsolda, a short drive from Lugano. Would definitely stay at Stella D’ Italia again.
