Nice view, but the hotel is a little tired, as tired as the city itself. Wi-Fi works poorly, the Internet is constantly interrupted. The breakfast is delicious, thanks for the welcome drink.

After first visiting in 2019, we returned here for two nights. The hotel still has its charm but has aged a bit and isn’t quite as well-maintained visually as it was in 2019. Most rooms offer a fantastic view of Valparaíso and parts of the harbor. We again had a room with a view (as booked), including breakfast. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Since the weather didn’t cooperate, breakfast was served in a small breakfast room. As the hotel was well booked, it felt a bit cramped. The breakfast was good, but not as great as we remembered from 2019. The independently run restaurant, with its rustic outdoor terrace and the same stunning view of the city, is definitely worth recommending. Drinks, cocktails, and food were all good. All in all, still a good choice—especially because of the location right in the old town (everything within walking distance) and the fantastic views. However, the owners should place more emphasis on maintenance and restoring the visual appeal, as the competition from other charming boutique hotels in Valparaíso is strong and growing.
