A very stylish hotel, which completely met our expectations from its description on this site. Spacious and tastefully decorated rooms with the view on the hills of the city, there is a separate terrace below for those wishing to relax. Very welcoming and efficient reception guys arranged a very smooth check-in for is. There is also a private parking ground nearby (which is an important feature for the hotels located on the hills in this town), but the entry gate perhaps would now allow for the larger vehicles - please check it beforehand. The hotel is generally located upside down (because of the geography of the city) in a way that you are entering the high floor and then descending to the lower floors and there is a staircase leading down the main road (so in case of heavy luggage please ask for the help at the reception).

This hotel is beautiful and so quirky every room is decorated by its own artist. It was incredibly comfy and clean. The staff were very friendly and main reception spoke English. The breakfast was on the best while travelling through South America. Thank you so much

This beautiful hotel is an art museum within itself except that it has the most amazingly warm and welcoming staff. Cris was so sincere in helping us and making sure we were comfortable. The bed was super comfy and the bedroom clean. Conveniently located to visit the sites! The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this hotel. It was everything and more based on the photos on the website. Super easy checkout! THANK YOU for contributing to a great Valpo experience!

I would suggest covering the window over the door to help darken the room at night. I was in the first floor and my room only got dark once the lobby lights were dimmed. Other than that the hotel was nice.

We loved this hotel, unique for its art, quietness, kind and helpful staff and great location. We highly recommend it. Points of improvement: The area around the hotel is not super tidy. The pool was empty.

Casa Puenta is a charming house on one of Valparaiso's many hills. Each guest room is designed by a different local artist, and the shared spaces in the house were full of beautiful art. The owners, and the entire team were very lovely and made us feel both at home and on a luxurious vacation. Thank you so much for a magical time!
Like many of Valparaiso's buildings, it is only accessible by stairs, which is the only downside.

Pros: The art & the view from the terrace. Cons: Never slept so bad in my entire life. No AC, dark dirty room (room #12) The breakfast "buffet" is a joke. No one at the reception when we tried to check out, we waited for 15 minutes, rang the clock and doorbell a number of times. We had to go down to the breakfast room to tell them that we wanted to check out. No elevators. We sent several emails before checking in. No answers. I honestly don't get the good reviews here.
