Good area! Location was great! Plenty of good restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. The staff was kind and courteous. There were some issues with the maintainence of the room - trim that was peeling, shower door handle was hanging halfway off and the drawers and cabinets were in poor condition. The shower also felt pretty slippery to stand on and while I did not fall, I could see how someone might.

Family visit to Valpo This 2nd floor apartment was charming, but needs a few simple upgrades to make it bearable. A mattress pad would help the hard king bed tremendously. A box of tissues would have been nice. Maybe a small electric hot water pot for tea would do. Noone supplied us with the wifi password. We stayed 3 nights during which the restaurant below was closed. We would most likely pick an available modern hotel next time.

Meh room but great location They say this room sleeps 4 but the small pull out couch is extremely uncomfortable. The shower has no water pressure at all.

2nd story miracle. Easy to find. Really enjoyed the restaurant and friendliness of the staff. The room was quiet despite being right next to busy highway/street. Will be back.

Great accommodations steps from great restaurants and shops. Comfortable bed - slept well.
