We stayed at The Guest House for our first ever family ski trip (we’re a couple with a teenage son). It was a completely magical experience - the setting is beautiful, with unbelievable views and the house itself is cosy, warm and welcoming. Helen and Steve were brilliant hosts and went above and beyond each day, giving us advice on local transport, restaurant reservations and making sure we had a great time. This trip will be a treasured memory and we’d all love to go back!

A wonderful 2 night stay at this delightful place, nestled in the hills of Vallorcine. Superb accommodation, very cosy & clean. Helen & Steve are great hosts, serving up a delightful breakfast and anecdotes galore! Be ready for a little uphill exercise after parking the car, but all in all a 10/10 experience.

We had a fantastic stay at Helen & Steve’s place in Vallorcine. It’s a charming place, beautifully done, and with a fabulous breakfast. Helen & Steve are lovely hosts, laid back and incredibly knowledgable about the area. The house is a great place to explore the valley. Will definitely be returning.

Merveilleux séjour d’une semaine au GH à Vallorcine. L’endroit est idéalement situé pour profiter des randonnées pédestres à quelques kilomètres de l’agitation de Chamonix. Helen est au petit soin et sait rester discrète et toujours de bons conseils. Ce chalet est à la fois paisible et de tout confort doté d’un extérieur calme et aménagé. Le petit déjeuner est complet et copieux préparé avec attention et permet un moment d’échanges. Je recommande vivement ce endroit.

The Guest House is a special place - a home away from home. A very warm welcome, delicious breakfast and beautifully decorated rooms - which are always clean and warm. It's very convenient for skiing Les Tours, Les Grands Montets and Chamonix is just down the road. We'd love to visit in the Summer season. Highly recommend.

We got a room on the last floor, a spacious room that is maintained to a high standard, clean. The room has a large and very comfortable bed, blankets, pillows, towels and quality soaps. Helen helped us by recommending a good route that was worth a lot and the breakfast is excellent. This is an opportunity to get to know other travelers and to get in touch with Helen. During the tourist season there are restaurants and a cable car near the house and you don't have to go all the way to Chamonix. We strongly recommend the hotel, you should know that there is no adjacent parking and there is a walk along a dark path of about 100 meters from the parking lot to the house. Also, you have to take off your shoes upon entering the house.
