Super 8 by Wyndham Danville

Disappointing. Dirty, the room smelled like stale cigarettes and body odor. The linens smelled like fried food and cooking oil. I had to wipe down the entire room with disinfectant to get the smell down. We really wanted to leave but hubby is a new amputee and finding another place on short notice was not an option. Floor was dirty, my socks were dirty after a few minutes. Refrigerator had ice buildup and what looked like ketchup on it. Shower was dirty. No shower chair as pictured and listed on the room description. Husband had to use his walker in the shower. Shady parking lot with people all times of the day and night hanging around a camper in the back. We didn’t feel safe as older citizens. Would not recommend. I wasn’t aware there was a $100 deposit. That is NOT stated as a requirement to book. We haven’t got it back yet. I took plenty of photos and left it smelling better and cleaner than when I got there so it had better be refunded. It’s not nice to throw charges on at the end AFTER you already booked and weren’t told. The whole place needs remodeling which I saw they were doing. Shady. Felt ripped off after staying. Don’t recommend.

Very convenient location, beautiful lobby, and comfy bed. Cleanliness was nonexistent. Popcorn on bed edge, furnishings covered in a layer of dust, mattress cover stained with blood spots, back of toilet with dirt and hair, and feces on bathroom wall.

Room was quiet and clean. Bed was comfortable, A/C worked without any problem and it was not noisy. TV worked with a large selection of channels. Nothing fancy but had everything we needed.
