Melior Boutique Hotel

Very good place, strange to check in because is inside the Starbucks to enter initially u might need to ring the bell., but very nice location in Valletta and has an amazing breakfast, well spacious, and the staff is friendly too 100% recommend.

Location is the best. We arrived at 22:30. The starbucks staff called a reception guy for us. We just needed the code for the lift and the room. We were in room 304 with window to the "courtyard". The so-called courtyard has smoke smell most of the time, but we do not smell it in the room as we have AC on. Room was hugh and well functioned. Everything was great, except the bathroom. - There are no shelfs for toiletry and dry cloth. - No enough hooks to hang towels for everyone. - No enough place for put dry cloth before use. - There is no separation between wet and dry area. We had to be careful to not make the whole bathroom too wet. I like breakfast there. As you can read from other review,, we chose in the evening what we want in the next morning and they brought everything to the room pretty much on time. I did not get bored of the breakfast after 4 mornings. After this stay, we went to another beach hotel and I got bored of their breakfast choices after the third morning. If I get a chance to come to Valetta, I will definitely stay here again.

We were very pleased with our room at The Melior in Valletta. It is on Republic, a main pedestrian only street in the heart of Valletta, walking distance to most everything. Despite it being a busy area our room was very quiet. There are only 18 rooms for this hotel with a unique entry. You need to enter through the Starbucks Reserve. You will be given a code for the elevator, access to your room, and access to Starbucks during the hours it is closed. The room was comfortable, quiet, clean and had quality l'occitane products in the bathroom. Breakfast was very generous and delivered to your room each morning (order left day before on your door).

The hotel was easy to find based on the instructions given. The breakfast from the startbucks was poor. There was no yoghurt any of the days. The rooms do not have windows apart from a few suites - best to check before arriving. The bathroom smelt damp and there was noone on the desk apart from once when we walked past. Disappointed given the photos online and the apparent "view"
