Although I only stayed for one night, the service and breakfast were quite good. I arrived in the middle of the night and contacted the hotel for pick-up in advance. The hotel's arrangements were very appropriate. When we arrived, a handsome driver was waiting with a sign. Thank you to the hotel for the arrangement.

Totally beyond my expectation!! From the smiley face welcoming us when we first walked in to the home made turndown macarons to the breakfast (the chef even peeled the tomato skin!); everything impressed me. We stayed two nights in the Casa and it is my first time staying in the Valetta. The hotel focuses on service details!!
Superb location - 10 to 15 mins walk to the bus terminal/ upper and lower Barrakka garden/ the ferry pier with easy access to bars, restaurants, and shops. The building itself is historical and we love the design of the room. The big in-room safe provides extra secure.
But what I love the most is the team. Everyone at the reception and during breakfast service has been super amazing. Special thanks to Peter who performed the room orientation upon check-in, Matthew who assisted me with luggage and escorted me to the uber pick up point upon departure, the pretty lady Sladjana with a big smile and endless jokes that made my day, and Renniel who helped fix the issue of the basin stopper.
Highly recommend Casa Ellul to everyone. Dont miss the wonderful breakfast in the morning!

Our stay at Casa Ellul was flawless. The hotel is beautifully designed, blending historic charm with modern luxury. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, and the room was both elegant and comfortable. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Breakfast was delicious and served with care. A perfect boutique experience—we can’t wait to return.

Simply a blissful experience. I selected the hotel to explore Valletta and surroundings during an extended week-end. I could not have selected a more suitable location, the staff are super-friendly and very helpful, the offered shuttle service from the airport worked perfectly and the food in the partnered restaurant will blow your mind.

Beautiful small luxury boutique hotel, in Valletta located at the lower end of a busy street surrounded by restaurants, quiet room, comfortable bed, great food. Rooms cleaned every day. Very friendly accommodating staff nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again.

Extreme "Luxury" at Casa Ellul. Small Luxury Hotels??? First impression counts - If you are looking for some sophisticated esthetics for high price - choose " Suite" 8. First look at the pictures / rather impressions / on the internet - versus reality. No wardrobe, leaking shower, dirty walls, size of the mirror in the bathroom with no comments. At least the "suit" was cleaned and towels changed everyday. What partly compensated the bad feeling of being cheated were the people at the reception and people serving breakfast.

The wonderful staff and central location of this charming boutique hotel made our holiday. All the staff were friendly and helpful but a special thanks to Renniel and Hazel who recommended and booked our restaurants for the week removing that hassle at the end of a busy day exploring. If you enjoy fine dinning I also suggest you eat in their restaurant, Risette, what a treat and absolutely worthy of a Michelin star or two! Fabulous breakfast too!

Staffs were wonderful.. Hazel and crew. Were very nice..
However: my booked rooms roof was leaking.
Second room#5 was the best.
The third nights room had smells and had to climb to my sleeping area. Middle of the night had to find my way down to the washroom going steep stairwells….
