Lovely property and hotel but neighborhood noisy and loud cars throughout the evening. One night was ok but would not choose property for more than a few days. Didn’t venture out at night.

The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the rooms are clean. The only inconvenience is the parking lot, it’s very limited and compact.

Wonderful place to stay. Food is excellent. Great view. Only problem for me was there were a lot of roaches in the room but other then that great place. Staff takes there sweet time getting to you during dining.

We loved everything ! From the moment I booked, to the moment we arrived , and departed! The hospitality was amazing! Jefferson and Steven! We want to thank you so much for everything! The food was incredibly delicious! Marlon and Tony were very friendly and sweet and exceeded my expectations! We will return again! Thank you so much for making our stay at El Guayacan Retreat so special! This is definitely the best and highly recommended places to stay !

Beautiful view
Property and view are beautiful but service could be better.
There was no electricity for about 2hrs from 5 to 7pm, it was pitch dark and no one thought to come and offer a flash light, we had to use our phones to go ask for substitute light and we were given battery candles.
I understand these things happen but given we were the only guests (2 females) with only one employee on the property in the dark, we at least expected an apology for the inconvenience during checkout.
