Location: on Isla Pastores with an easy free boat transfer from Almirante. It’s a quiet island and it feels like a private island retreat Hotel: little houses dotted around the lovely grounds.they are all in different locations so decide where you prefer to stay. They are all beautifully decorated There is a lovely deck where you can snorkel ( gear provided), kayaked, SUPS. Also a nice pool with a view of the sea and jungle Restaurant: lovely breakfast and all other meals need to be taken there. Food is excellent. This is a really lovely place. It’s incredibly relaxing and I really advise a stay here. Our only criticisms are that the Mariposa rooms is not suitable for 2 couples as we thought. Marie found a solution so that’s great. Also we would have appreciated a place to get water and coffee in the morning. Meal times felt slightly regimented. It suits the owners but took away from the relaxed vibe. Having said that it’s such an amazing place for great value. Just go

Incredible beauty that can’t be described in words with generous hosts. The food and additional amenities are icing on the cake for this incredible property. It did happen to be very hot while we visited but the fans and breeze helped. Be prepared for the natural weather and environment.

Everything about our stay here more than met my expectations. From snorkeling right off the dock to the fresh cooked meals using ingredients grown right on the island! The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are clean. We cannot wait to come back.

un petit paradis sur terre et mer où tout est fait pour satisfaire les convives. Mary et Christophe sont très attentifs mais toujours avec discrétion. si vous avez envie de calme de nature, n’hésitez pas, c’est l’adresse qu’il vous faut y passer des moments très précieux

I cannot recommend this place enough, it’s paradise!! The location and grounds of this property are breathtakingly beautiful! The cabins are simple but clean, comfortable, and very well-appointed with everything you’ll need. The main lodge is charming and beautiful! The website pictures do not begin to do this place justice for how gorgeous it is! We cannot say enough about the wonderful service we received during our five days in February. Christophe and Mary understand the art of hospitality and make you feel welcome and cared for the moment you step off the boat. The food was outstanding!! Truly like a fine dining restaurant. The drinks and wine were also a lovely option every day and evening. Meals were an absolute highlight of our time there. Definitely walk the grounds, the garden and farm are incredibly beautiful and, as we were told, one of the nicest properties in the entire archipelago. We saw so many little frogs and incredible plants on our walks. I hope to come back to Finca Vela with the entire family. This was a perfect couples trip but would also accommodate children and families. I’ve stayed at many luxury hotels around the world and Finca Vela is at the top as far as unique, special properties. It was unforgettable!!

Hier ist alles besonders und persönlich: die Ausstattung, die Zimmer, das Essen, die Gästebetreuung, die Umgebung! Wir waren für 4 Nächte im Baumhaus der Finca Vela - ein einmaliges Erlebnis! Es gibt nur 7 'Zimmer', sodass beim Dinner alle gemeinsam gegen 19 Uhr das unglaublich gute Essen von Marie auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf Palmen und Karibik genießen dürfen. Zahlreiche, kostenfreie Wassersportoptionen am Bootssteg mit kristallklarem Wasser - ideal zum schnorcheln, kajaken, SUP und schwimmen. Über Christophe kann man Exkursionen (privat oder in Gruppen) oder Transport zu den anderen Inseln buchen. Wir haben uns extrem wohlgefühlt und würden es zu 100% allen empfehlen, die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit in paradiesischer Umgebung suchen mit dem Luxus eines Resorts auf sehr persönlicher Ebene. Der Ventilator in unserem Zimmer hat absolut ausgereicht, es war nie zu warm und wir haben auch keine Belästigung durch irgendwelche Insekten erfahren. Alles ist offen, aber es gibt vor allen Fenstern Insektenschutz. Wir vermissen dieses Kleinod jetzt schon! Respekt und Kompliment an Marie und Christophe, die einen wunderbaren Ort für Gäste geschaffen haben!

La situación geográfica de finca vela lodge en sí es un must. A 30 minutos de isla Colon se cambia de escenario y calidad de estadía. Decoración 10 puntos. todo de buen gusto. Atendido por sus dueños y todo el personal impecable. Desayunos exquisitos y la cena completa y muy rica. El toque de los ron infusionados muy cool.

Un hôtel merveilleux, une déconnexion absolue dans un confort absolu, un environnement fantastique, une cuisine raffinée , des petits déjeuners fabuleux faits maison, un accueil chaleureux , des excursions à la carte que je recommande , une réelle disponibilité , des activités etc….un endroit à faire absolument ! On a d’ailleurs plus envie de repartir …encore mille mercis à Marie et Christophe , des hôtes merveilleux ! ️

Un endroit magique. La végétation est luxuriante, la mer transparente, la décoration super. Nous avions le bungalow dans les arbres, une cabane de très grand luxe. Les paysages sont incroyables et l’aménagement parfait. Tout est pensé dans le respect de l’environnement avec des produits frais et locaux. L’accueil de Marie et Christophe est chaleureux et personnalisé. Ils sont là pour vous faire plaisir et vous rendre service, La cuisine de Marie est excellente. Bref, allez-y les yeux fermés et au moins pour 3 nuits histoire d’en profiter !
