Nexus Valladolid Suites & Hotel

Valladolid is a very pleasant living city with few tourists. The hotel is very user friendly as suites are beautiful, huge and modern. Kitchen with basic utensils and dishwasher included (but not detergent). Spacious living room. Safe, big fridge, lots of room for storage. Air-con works very well. One of the two big windows we had in the room leads to a small enclosed balcony where one could even pull out a chair to read a book or have a coffee. As for parking, it may not be too obvious. Try locate it using google street view and look for the car lift at the rear of the hotel and set your GPS there. At the time we were there, there was some construction nearby but with some minor detours, getting there was not a problem. There are parking spaces near the car lift for temporary stops for you to quickly get out and ask hotel to open car lift door to get in. Garage is super clean (they must be washing it frequently) and spaces are wide. Good value for money.
Hotel Ciudad de Valladolid

Located in the same street as the Valladolid Exhibition Fair, with a city bus stop in front. Desk, shoe furniture and minibar in the room. Great bathroom with bathtub, bide, dryer. Ideal for short stays. nice reception staff. Modern hotel style, with bar and restaurant in lower floors. Exquisite cleaning. The only thing that is to be hit is the noise from the street on Saturday night when it is near a leisure area.

Can't beat the location right in the heart of Valladolid within walking distance to everything. The room was modern and clean and the little balcony had a great view of the street and surrounding neighborhood. The area immediately surrounding the hotel has some of the best bars/restaurants in the city. They stay open late, but our room was quiet and we slept great. Noise was not an issue. The lady at the front desk recognized I was learning Spanish and she spoke slowly, which was very nice as it allowed me to understand everything regarding how to park our car (they have on site parking) and everything else about our room, the stay, etc. If you're looking for a very nice place to stay in Valladolid, this is your spot.
Hotel Zentral Parque

This is a small hotel located within easy walking distance from Plaza Mayor and the main shopping, restaurant areas. Essentially you can walk everywhere and even the cathedral is an easy 20 minute walk. Lots of breakfast options nearby so no need to pay for expensive hotel breakfasts. You can get breakfast from €5 to €3 nearby and that includes a coffee, juice, pain au chocolat plus a main item eg tortilla, pan con tomate, churros etc. We went to Senatta - great bakery five minutes from the hotel. We had a double room which was compact but very clean. This is not a luxurious hotel and the rooms are simple but adequate and comfortably furnished. Bathrooms have all the basic amenities and a partial shower screen which means a very wet bathroom floor after a couple of showers. I was expecting better rooms based on the reviews. Annoyingly the lights in the corridors are activated by movement, which is very disconcerting when the sensor is located a number of steps from your room which was our experience. It means you are fumbling in the dark until you trigger a sensor. Not a pleasant experience. Also irritating is that there are stairs to enter/leave the hotel which means lifting luggage. Car park is a short walk away and €17 a night. Whilst our stay was okay will look for other options if we return to Valladolid. Check in and out very efficient.
