Hotel Walram

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Walram for few nights at the end of June. The hotel was excellent and spotless. However, an hotel's reputation depends on its staff. These were very friendly and helpful which made our stay all the more enjoyable. We stayed on an half-board basis with buffet breakfasts and 3 course evening meals. These were excellent. My wife, who is vegan, was particularly well looked after. The kitchen staff made sure that she had excellent meals which was very much appreciated. My non-vegan meals were also excellent. The bar and restaurant staff were all very friendly. Thank you all for making our stay so enjoyable. Tom and Linda Hunter

Location great. Hotel staff friendly. Basic room we had was small and bathroom dangerous as step to get in shower and shower door not able to fully open as toilet roll dispenser in way. Had to place a towel on step to get out without slipping. Not much room to put anything good job only 3 night stay. Bed downright uncomfortable, as kept sliding to side, nearly fell on floor so put pillows on floor just in case. Breakfast ok full continental. Scrambled or boiled eggs, bacon and sausages swopped kinds each day. Evening meal a choice of fish or meat. Not to our liking so made sure lunch out was got. Drinks on evening were in package for 3 hours but limited brands.
