Staff are nice, location was good, breakfast was awful, shower flooded the room and toilet seat was broken. Served our needs as we were going to Truck festival.

Booked & received confirmation for a ‘Double Premier Plus’ room 4 months before our visit & paid in full at time of booking. This is advertised as an enhanced experience ! Arrived on the day to be shoved in a ‘Twin Accessible with wet room’ & was basically told to take it or leave it because the hotel was full & that was all that was left ! It had a stained carpet, noise from cars parked directly outside window only a few feet from the bed & the corridor door outside room constantly banging throughout the night. Had booked the meal deal but after the room issues & how we were treated, we decided eating there would probably be a mistake too so cancelled & almost 2 weeks later am still waiting for my refund. Stay elsewhere - anywhere ! If this was an enhanced experience then I’d hate to think how bad the ‘standard experience’ is !

Our room on the third floor was clean and quiet. Meal deal is good value but had to wait 30 minutes for the evening meal as it was busy. Staff at breakfast were very friendly and attentive. Faulty TV in the room was attended to but, unfortunately, the fault recurred. Overall, enjoyed the visit and will stay again.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel, a lovely room with a very comfy bed and also very good food at the hotel restaurant. But most of all, what made my stay special was the supportive and attentive staff who not only helped me with whatever I needed but made me feel at home. Perfectly clean room, fresh towels or sheets whenever I needed it and free wifi. Anything I needed, they provided it to me straight away. It's a great place to stay if you are in the area. Highly recommend!

We had a late check-in and the experience wasn't great. Everything is geared to be DIY and nickel & diming you like a discount airline. It isn't even the amount of the additional costs - rather how annoying their systems are and how you have to do everything for the priviledge of paying. We arrived at the location and there was no one around. They had self-checkin kiosks but of course nothing worked (they asked for a UK postal code - we are from the US, the reservation & booking numbers). We pushed the service button and it took forever for someone to come out (very nice person when they did show up). Biggest annoyance - their free internet is complete garbage - they have it throttled so that it provides only 1mbps speeds up / down but it is so unreliable and inconsistent, it is really isn't usable for anything other the simplest / most basic things. The hotel is also in the middle of nowhere very pretty poor mobile data coverage so you really don't have any choice but to go offline for awhile or pay the 5 GBP (about $7) PER CONNECTION - I'm here with my family so bascially we sould have ended up paying and extra for $60 for our laptops and phones just for 8mbps service per day. What a joke! Also, room is relatively new and clean but one bed was not ready. Definitely stay away If actual service and a decent comp wifi connection matter to you!

Don't park here unless you want a £100 parking fine !! This is after paying for parking !!! Stayed here many nights parking my work van and paid for parking and registering my vehicle registration with the receptionist, who is then supposed to put it on their system?!!!! Only to receive multiple fines weeks later !!
