Holiday Inn Valdosta Conference Center

The staff's friendliness and professionalism, clean and spacious rooms, convenient airport proximity, and proximity to restaurants were highly praised by guests.

There is a restaurant inside of this hotel that seemed like it was going to be a good idea however, once myself and my family sat down to order drinks, The young lady named Louise was extremely rude with us. We sat down at 7pm!! We asked her for certain items-we asked for two beverages from the bar. We got ONE of our beverages 37 minutes from the time we sat down and the bartender girl said, “I might start on the other drink when I feel like it”. We were the only couple Besides two other couples in the restaurant. And none of them ordered from the bar at all so the question was, why are we waiting for the 2nd drink?? I then asked for her to bring me my check so we could leave, as quietly as possible, She then proceeded to yell at me that it was her next to last day so if I didn’t like it, then just call her boss. It wouldn’t matter! She be leaving anyway! I had to ask for my check so that I can leave AGAIN to go and find another establishment to eat at before It was too late in the night to feed my children, this was after 8pm and she still did not give me my ticket. She yelled to me it would just be added to my hotel room! I will NEVER RETURN!!! The hotel room wasn’t in any better shape! I have pictures of the inside of the lamp shade that has splashes left from possibly a spilled beverage? It still should’ve been cleaned, was it not part of the cleaning list. Picture of a beverage ring on the nightstand prior to my family even putting our luggage away! Another picture of what appears to be a “booger” on the wall next to the beds and phone!! There wasn’t any toilet tissue nor any soap in the room upon entering, I had to call twice for soap!! The front desk guy I spoke with twice, was named Joshua. The young lady at the front desk the first day I arrived, Kaitlyn, she was African American I believe was very nice and professional !! George, is the manager I was told and it has been 2 days and haven’t heard from him YET!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

My kids loved this hotel my son enjoyed the pool . Clean and comfortable .. housekeepers was nice and friendly..breakfast was great . Rooms was cleaned .
