We had a wonderful stay at Airelles. We stayed for 7 nights and skied almost every day. It's probably the best location of all the hotels in Val d'Isere where you can ski out and back to the hotel and plump down into one of the Adirondak chairs after skiing, relax facing the sun and mountain and have an apres ski drink. The hotel is all out luxury, from the quaint lobby to the well appointed rooms with very comfortable beds and a full on snack bar that is all inclusive. And to top it off, regular ski laundry (under-garments, ski tops, sox) are all free for room service laundry. They even leave high quality gifts every day on your bed, from expensive ski sweaters upon arrival to ski sox and headgear. The gym, pool, and sauna areas are one of the best we've ever seen and the breakfasts are top notch! Hard to find any areas of improvement. Minor areas were -- when it's windy the hotel lobby smelled of the fireplace and the ski locker staff, while pleasant were not up to the quality of assistance and charm we experienced in other places like L'Apogee in Courchevel. Also the Japanese restaurant in the hotel is trying to be at the Nobu level but fell short. Otherwise, a luxury hotel with a wonderful experience that was worth every penny.

Our family of five stayed at the Arielles for a week in early April. To begin with, Val D’Isere is a much different experience then Courcheval. The mountain is more of a”ski town” feel, with rustic elegance, as opposed to the luxury and branding of its nearby mountain competitor. Arielles in Val D’Isere is a five star hotel in every way. The service was fantastic. The hotel and spa are very nice, and the ski room on the lower level is easy to use, and really nice and user friendly. It’s important to note that the best restaurants in Val D’Isere all are either on property, close by, or directly affiliated with the hotel. Make plans to visit all four for the best dinners in town. Val D’Isere has a decent Apres Ski set up, but it is nothing like Courcheval. Great meals and a great time, but not over the top. The one negative about Arielles we found, with our three teenage and early twenties children, was the amount of young kids everywhere at the hotel. The spa was most times filled with young kids in the pool. They were loud and it is not a relaxing spa at times to be in. That said, the overall experience was excellent. The location within steps of the Gondola’s was great for ski in/ski out, and as stated the hotel is lovely with wonderful service. Overall, for those looking for a beautiful family ski hotel with all the amenities Arielles has it.

Alpine hotels don't get much better than this. Service, food, location, the extra touches etc.. On a good day the terrace restaurant is one of the best in the alps for lunch in sunshine surrounded by beautiful views and people. Naturally you pay for this world of luxury, but it is well worth it! Oh and it has an inhouse Cedric Grolet barery - what more do you need!

After spending a week at this hotel I believe they should be a location for other hotel managers and owners to go and learn how a 5 star hotel should be run. First of all they are right on the slopes and are one of the few places in town where you don't have walk before or after your ski day. Their rooms, restaurants, spa are some of the best you can find in a ski resort anywhere. Certainly the best in Val D'Isere. The real area they make a difference however is the service. The generous gifts they put in your room every night, amazing ski room staff making sure you don't have to lift a finger, free snacks and drinks spread all around the hotel from reception to teens room all made us feel more at home than anywhere else we have been to.

A very nice discovery. LUXURY at the foot of the slopes. The Palladio's cuisine brings you the comfort you need between two ski sessions. A big thank you to the concierge team for their valuable advice and the impeccable organization of our stay (Lorraine and Elio, you rock! 🥇)

Excellent location and beautiful terrace however service was terrible, food mediocre and totally overpriced. We waited more than 30 mins to get our drinks and food took almost 1 hour. They managed to forget one meal. Probably the nicest hotel and terrace in Val D’Isere but if you want to be “high end” you need to also provide exceptional service and this fell far short.

Divine sun: we suggest straw hat and sunscreen 😎 We put helmet, gloves in a canvas bag Dish of the day: delicious and very hot veal blanquette to enjoy for €30 (weekly), generous portion. Coffee + crunchy and tasty canelet... The Guerlain spa 6 p.m. return from skiing - jacuzzi and swimming pool, original shower with light and jets at different temperatures... Sports massage: drink at the start, Installation under heated duvet and off you go for 1 hour with a warm professional. We offer you 4 flavors and you choose the one you like for the deep massage: a treat! Hot drink and delicacy on arrival 😊 Guerlain products on all floors Relaxing moment by the fire Restaurant: enthusiastic welcome. Reserved table, magic trick Generous plate of chard risotto ham cheese truffle. Accompanied by wine by the sommelier's advice 🍷! Giant dessert buffet commented in the smallest details and infusion A great moment in a mountain setting, staff in medieval dress, like lunch on the Terrace. We await you there with a smile, professionalism, discretion ... A pure moment of pleasure that I wanted to share I return there accompanied as soon as possible VERY NICE DAY, beautiful achievement to make known Thank you 😊
