We were extremely misled when booking with The Landmark. We booked a “platinum” room that showed a room that was extremely updated and more of a luxurious feel to it. We also called months before regarding the amount of actual beds that were in the room because we didn’t want to be spending that amount of money with someone having to sleep of an inch thick mattress on a pull out couch. The employee that we spoke to assured that we would have plenty of beds for us and we wouldn’t have to use the pull out. When we arrived to our room, we were extremely dissatisfied as soon as we stepped in. The room wasn’t updated like the pictures had shown and there were clearly not enough beds. Two grown adults shared a TWIN bottom bunk bed. The bunk beds were also so extremely loud when you made the slightest move. Which caused the three people to wake up all throughout the night for 5 nights in a row. When taking a closer look at things, the room was also dirty and there were several hairs all over all of the “clean” bedding. Obviously I know that it’s almost impossible to make it perfect, but it was far from it. We also ran into several other issues. Multiple outlets didn’t work, one of the showers barely drained so we stood in our filth while showering. And then one of the sinks barely drained as well. When we took up our concerns with the hotel staff, they wouldn’t do anything about it and said that we would have to take it up with *******. So we did, and they also did nothing about it.
