I had an amazing experience. The staff was fantastic. A special shoutout to Debbie, for going above and beyond. I stay here every time I am in Vail. I will be back.

The location is everything, right in the heart of the village. Once you park you won't need to think about your vehicle again. Everything is walkable, shops, food, and fun. Great place to make memories. We really enjoyed "The Pet Boutique of Vail" as this was the 1st time way for our dogs in 8+ years.

Charming! Old world atmosphere and very comfortable. Vail village is within a block and one of the gondola's is just down the path. Everything is within walking distance. We will visit regularly if possible.

Exceptional location, allowing for on-site parking (Lodge), Wonderful staff at all levels- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, Our 4-night room was mountain view balcony with kitchenette - exceptionally large balcony with table seating, and kitchen was a bonus for morning snacks, especially with no on-site breakfast. Room was spacious and comfortable - fireplace - cozy . Love the Bavarian atmosphere and history, being one of first 3 hotels in Vail. Great atmosphere and tip: City Market is just 10 minutes up the access road and is a great fully stocked spot, including pharmacy and wine. For folks used to steel and glass sleek hotels this style may not be in taste and appear "old" - for those wanting to really feel like they are on a tyrolean holiday, it is perfect, especially when you add in the atmosphere of Vail. There is an exceptional breakfast spot across the street *Big Bear" - parking is a huge bonus and way over 1/2 less than the nightly rate in the garages. Parts are under renovation (windows, roof) - great place for family reunions or friends outings - beautiful lounge area for games, visits - we don't ski, but it's right at some sort of Gondola lift thingy almost right out the door. No complaints - highly recommend - and did I mention great staff?

The hotel and facilities are great and the cost was more than competitive with the other area hotels. The room was ready when we arrived at 11 a.m. The hotel is set back away from the noisier evening festivities and is near nice natural walking/hiking areas

The property is well located, with the village easily accessible on foot. The rooms retain their original classic charm, though some upgrades—such as adding seating areas—would be appreciated. To improve the experience, making the property more kid-friendly and providing activities for children would be beneficial. A microwave in the rooms or at least in the main lobby would also be helpful, as the current location is inconvenient. Additionally, transporting luggage from the entrance to the lobby is challenging due to the staircase; guests must carry their bags to the lobby before accessing a trolley. Overall, I had a pleasant stay, but I may consider other options in the future.

I searched a long time for a quiet one-bedroom unit in Vail with a kitchen, parking, and proximity to Vail village and the Ford Amphitheater. This unit, managed by the Christiania Lodge, was very nice. The parking, right in front of the building, was included, unlike with most condos. Vail village, where you can find many excellent restaurants and shops, is a 5-minute walk. The Ford gardens and amphitheater are a 10-minute walk. Across from the unit is a path to Gore Creek. Many beautiful walking trails are close by.
