Good place in Liechtenstein. Can have a overview over the valley with Rhein river flow through, and have beautiful mountain view. The dinner is fantastic. Will visit again.

The small hotel in the forest, where UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has stayed, faces the mountain and overlooks the city, with a great view. Not to mention the service. When I left, I walked down the mountain through the residential area where every house was decorated with flowers, and I truly appreciated the quality of life of people whose per capita income is 11 times higher than that of Chinese people.

Has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed in for a long time. Everything was faultless, rooms had a balcony with a view into Switzerland so we could watch the thunderstorms roll in. Had a swim in their pool which was warmer than expected, although the decor does take some getting used to it does work. We had a package which included dinner and breakfast which I would highly recommend as both the food and service are exemplary. This property is on the list for a repeat visit.

I would have given five stars and feel bad holding one back because it wasn't necessarily the hotel's fault. We arrived at the hotel for a one night stay, but it was a very warm day. The hotel upgraded our room to a junior suite with a view of the castle. However, we never saw the view because it was so hot, we had to keep the blinds closed. Liechtenstein doesn't allow forced air HVAC systems, so the hotel just had a swamp cooler setup, which left the room on the warm side. We had an amazing dinner at Maree and although the seats were outside, they sat us in a shady spot, so it was nice to sit outside and the weather cooled as we got closer to sunset. However, when we got back to the room, it was still very warm inside as there was no good way to remove the built up heat in the room. We had an early breakfast and my wife didn't even go back to the room and I got us out of town, where it was going to be even warmer that day. The hotel is quite lavish and the staff is friendly and accommodating. But if you're going to stay there on a warm day, just know that it may not be all that comfortable unless you are acclimated to warmer buildings.
