Ok for en natt.
Veldig små og utdaterte rom uten aircondition. Det ble en dårlig natt søvn. Badet er veldig lite, men ok for en natt. Veldig god frokost med super service fra personalet!

Our first overnight stay after arriving in Norway started perfectly — we were greeted by a warm and genuinely friendly receptionist who, despite the late hour, remained as cheerful as the midnight sun. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was varied enough and offered a good start to the day. There is no evening restaurant at the hotel, but the kind receptionist recommended a good place just across the street — and it was a great choice. What really made our stay special was the hotel staff — genuinely friendly, helpful, and simply the best we’ve met on this trip.

Yön yli yöpyminen
Muutoin oikein hyvä, mutta ei ollut ilmastointia (omat tuulettimet mukana) eli oli kuuma nukkua. Myöskään ei ollut pimennysverhoja eli näin heinäkuussa valoisaa läpiyön.

På rundreise i Finnmark var jeg på flere sammenliknbare hoteller, med noenlunde samme prisnivå. Men Scandic Vadsø var både dyrest og dårligst på en gang. F. eks. var 305 kr for ekstra frokost en stivere pris enn på andre hoteller med bedre utvalg. Rommet var også det dyreste på min reise. Og hotellet trenger oppussing.
