Ein wunderbares und mehr als Geschichtsträchtiges Hotel. Die Liste der Gäste liest sich wie das Who is Who der letzten Jahrzehnte... ja und nun gehören wir auch dazu! Um es mal vorweg zu nehmen, das haus ist Historisch, Modern eingerichtet aber kein vergleich zu Topmodernen Touri-Kästen. Man merkt dies schon an den großzügigen Zimmern, der passenden Einrichtung die man anderswo als Vintage imitiert. Hier aber ist das real. Das Hotel bietet einen Pool, Speisesaal, überdachtes Billard und noch so einige annehmlichkeiten. Das Gelände liegt nicht weit (5 Min Fußweg) zu den historischen Stätten von Uxmal, zudem direkt neben dem Planetarium und dem Choco-Museum.

Très bel hôtel qui ressemble à une hacienda. Une large galerie à colonnade avec beaucoup de charme permet d'accéder aux chambres. Celles-ci sont grandes, la literie est très confortable. La piscine est noyée dans la verdure d'un luxuriant jardin. Seul petit bémol le restaurant qui est de l'autre côté de la route à l'entrée du site. Je recommande cet hôtel de grand charme, à 10 minutes à pied du site. Un petit conseil, n'allez pas au son et lumière du site qui est a un prix exorbitant qu'il ne mérite vraiment pas. Nous avons regretté d'avoir dépensé autant pour si peu.

The Hacienda promises great things on the website but is extremely disappointing in reality. Location & sense of history are great & the room size spacious but that’s its only positives. As we checked in, the guy at reception tried to charge our credit card in US dollars rather than Mexican pesos, then just gave us the keys and we were left to find our own way to the rooms, no help, or information given at all. Walking up the grand staircase to our rooms, we were met with a pile of furniture all in wraps as if waiting for the removal van to arrive. All the tiled floors looked like they needed a good scrub & housekeeping staff had left all the dirty towels, sheets & bags of garbage in piles along the corridors giving a less than good first impression. We spent the first hour of our stay having the safe & coffee machine changed as neither worked. The TV had only 2 channels, both of which were like looking at a snow storm, the a/c fan was broken, the picture window was filthy inside and out, the bath mat was a rather revolting off white grey colour, the bathtub was so slippery it made having a shower quite a challenge, the lighting was grim and the fridge froze everything we put in it! Breakfast was a complete rip off, by far the most expensive & least appetising one we’ve had on this trip, served by surly & apathetic staff. Needless to say, we chose a different place to have breakfast the next two days of our stay which were half the price & so much better. With decent management & a bit of TLC, this hotel would be amazing!

The Hacienda is fabulous, clean and comfortable. Fantastic location to explore the ruins just a few steps away. Steeped in history, Hacienda Uxmal and the Choco Story are amazing. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Continental breakfast was delicious and the coffee hot. 100% recommend staying here.

Wunderschönes historisches Hotel, tolle Architektur, große Zimmer, toller Parkanlange. Die Strasse ist laut zu hören, da die Fenster alt sind. Das Wasser im Pool war sehr trüb und leider gibt es da kein Restaurant, das ist das große Manko.

Horrible experience, made us pay double for the rooms since they “did not see the payment already made in advance”. Rooms were dirty and smelly. No warm water available anywhere, could only shower with ice cold water. Did not have any alternatives whatsoever for people with food allergies. The staff told us they had nothing to offer for breakfast for the ones allergic to dairy. Not even a piece of bread or a coffee with plant-based milk. For other members of the family the pancakes ordered were raw on the inside.

Yo me habia alojado en este hotel hace mucho tiempo y tenia grandes expectativas, sin embargo esta vez fue toodo lo contrario. La atencion de la recepcion super mala, en el bar igual, y en el restaurante como tenian prisa por irse pues no habia nada de lo que habia en la carta. El bano de la habitacion apestaba a alcantarilla, la tina estaba sucia y cuando prendi el jacuzzi salio mugre por todos lados.

Le seul point positif, la piscine était belle, mais très trouble ... dommage... Le restaurant, une arnaque: un petit déjeuner ridicule en quantité (pains en même quantité pour les tables de 2 ou 4), sans goût et à prix exorbitant... il a en plus fallu réclamer 4 fois le chocolat chaud, pour l'avoir une fois le repas terminé. Les chambres : les ouvertures ne sont pas toutes vitrées, et les moustiquaires étaient trouées... Lumière ne fonctionnant pas dans une chambre Et dans l'autre, la climatisation fuyait abondamment malgré une prentendue intervention, et faisait des toc toc (comme qqun qui frappe à la porte) Quand à leur état global, une rénovation s'impose. Dans la salle de bain: la petite boîte du set de couture était piquée de moisi à l'intérieur. Les serviettes propres étaient usées et certaines avec d'anciennes taches. Grosse déception, seul intérêt, la proximité des vestiges d'Uxmal. Si c'était à refaire, nous irions plus loin ...
