We stayed at Malie House Utrecht for two nights and felt very comfortable overall. The hotel is recently renovated, and everything looks fresh and modern. Some things still seem to be settling in, as our check-in took a bit longer than usual, but it wasn’t a big deal.
Our room was nicely decorated and cozy. There was no fridge or TV in the room, which didn’t bother us but might be good for other guests to know. We did have a small issue with the air conditioning blowing directly onto the bed, which wasn’t so comfortable for sleeping. However, we asked about it and learned that not all rooms have this layout, so it might not be a problem for other guests.
It’s about a 15-minute walk into the city centre, and if you’re arriving by car, it’s worth checking out street parking, since for example, there’s no fee on Sundays.

Fantastisch hotel! Heerlijke bedden, heerlijke douche, separaat toilet, totaal niet gehorig, kamer met airco, vriendelijk personeel, mooie aankleding, geweldige ligging, rustig en toch centraal, door het park loop je zo naar het centrum of met de bus in 7 minuten. Gratis koffie en thee in de lobby.

Vriendelijk personeel, handig om parking via het hotel te kunnen betalen, Mooie kamer, goed bed, geluidsdichte deuren, goede locatie, mooie gemeenschappelijke ruimte. Ontbijt mocht iets uitgebreider zijn en broodjes/croissants waren te hard gebakken.

Schönes neu renoviertes Hotel mit kleinen Schwächen. Kein Kleiderschrank, kein TV, kein Safe und kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Bis zum Dom läuft man ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß. Man kann im Hotel Räder leihen. Das Parken in Utrecht ist sehr teuer. Tageskarte kostet 47 Euro.

Wij werden vriendelijk onthaald en ondanks we aan de vroege kant waren konden we wel meteen naar onze kamer. De kamer zag er prachtig uit. Het bed was heerlijk en ook de badkamer zag er prachtig uit. Onze kamer lag aan de achterkant van het hotel en wij hadden nog een terrasje bij onze kamer, ook erg leuk. Ontbijt was ook keurig geregeld. Ze komen persoonlijk broodjes langs de tafel brengen met beleg erbij, er staat ook een bar met ander beleg. Al met al een prima hotel wat net een maand open was dus alles was nog nieuw. Vanuit het hotel loop je in een kwartiertje naar de binnenstad dus dat was ook prima te doen. Wij vinden het een aanrader.
