The Ibis Hotel suited me well. It's fairly basic but comfortable and the restaurant was fine. Excellent breakfasts. One of the best things about the Hotel for me was that, as well as having controllable air con, you can open the windows! (I like having a window slightly open at night). The Hotel's location suited my requirements perfectly. There's a half-hourly bus service into Centraal Station, which takes only a few minutes, and it's only a ten-minute walk to the banks of the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal, which was what I went there to see. Would definitely stay at the Ibis if I visit Utrecht again. Just one suggestion, - ask for a high floor.

It is a nice hotel. The location is good. Overall its worth the money. Will be back if in the area. Thanks to the staff at the reception who were very understanding. I had to rearrange the booking and add an extra night and the lady sorted it out with no issue

Good parking 5Euro per day, very good breakfast, Huda and Inage are wonderful and helpful and don't hesitate to help. Quite area, at bus stop 5 that takes you to Utrecht central Station. Clean room and nice neighborhood , biking or walking is very nice.

Short stay at this hotel. Just outside Utrecht centre but good local tram or bus travel near. A decent base. The hotel is well presented. When we arrived there was minimal staff on so that made Alfie a more lengthier wait. The hotel has a full bar and restaurant. Lots of food was unavailable from the restaurant but the breakfast was superb. The room was basic but comfortable and clean. The bed was super comfy and I had a great nights sleep each night. The rooms don’t get cleaned daily, you can request this but pointless if you’re only sleeping in them. You can request clean towels and toilet roll from reception if needed. There is no kettle or beverage making facilities in the room, this was a real drawback for me as I like a cuppa before bed and first thing, you can buy from reception (&free at breakfast). Also my shower was pathetic. One final negative was the family of rats in the bush outside-not uncommon anywhere I appreciate. Also worthy to note is the lack of facilities near by, no cafes restaurants or shops, just a petrol station over the road.
