Although the room is not big, it is very cozy. The boss is very nice and took the initiative to help us carry our luggage. The room is very warm with heating and the bed is very comfortable. Hostal Malvinas is well maintained, despite it's age. Only a handful of rooms on each of the two floors. We had a room overlooking the back garden, not much view like the front of the Beagle Channel. Room is clean, good linen, though mattress could be a bit firmer my preference. Breakfast is a simple continental, toast and croissant, juice, fresh fruits, and coffee/tea. Ignacio was most helpful in checking in, and helped us booked a new year's eve dining at one of Ushuaia better restaurant.

The first thing to highlight is the speed with which they respond to queries. The place is simple, well located, clean, and has a good breakfast. The best thing? The attention of the entire hostel team. I would return without hesitation.
