Hosteria Kupanaka

Conveniently situated near Ushuaia's main street, this accommodation provides easy access to amenities and attractions. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, helpful service, and varied breakfast with a great view.

The Hosteria was ok but the cost was too high for what you were given for the amount of money paid. Our three bedroom ensuite was very small. The room and the bathroom was very spartan, no furniture plus cold due to the strong winds and no insulation. If a baby was crying or someone was a loud speaker you could hear it all while trying to sleep. The breakfast was poor very little good food just carbs mainly. The manager also did something wierd he oiled the stone floor with engine oil we think trying to make the floor look clean but it also made the floor very slippery at times and put a nasty oily smell in the air which gave us headaches, (not kidding). We also had a medium bag of clothes that needed laundering. We paid $10 USD to have our clothes destroyed plus returned to us dry but still full of clothes powder dust. We also had an an item taken from our bathroom a lafies hair curler. We decided not to make a big deal about it but it was an act of theft. Be warned. Location is good but I think for the money you could find a much better place.
