By far in my top 3 hotels. Family owned newly renovated boutique style hotel. I stayed in the Jr suite so I can only speak on that room. It was literally a cottage off the hotel building. Spacious, quiet, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Check in was a pleasant experience with Pedro who greeted me with a special local treat and what tasted like freshly squeezed orange juice. I arrived early and he was able to check me in, which I greatly appreciated after traveling for 12 hours. The infinity pool was clean and relaxing. I stood there in relaxation mode as I listened to the birds chirping and zoomed in on Pico mountain straight ahead. The hotel has a decent breakfast spread which I treated myself to one day. There is a small bar for cocktails and hot beverages. There is no restaurant. However, there are three restaurants in walking distance and several more in neighboring towns by car. Pedro will assist with reservations and taxis as needed. My experience was truly magical. The hospitality and attention grabbed my attention. This will absolutely be my hotel of choice of I'm ever on the island again.

Ein unglaublich charmantes und authentisches Hotel, sehr luxurios und geschmacksvoll eingerichtet, in einer einmaligen Lage mit Blick auf Vulkan Pico! Wir wohnten in einer Suite mit dem Whirlpool, was natürlich sehr viel zu unserer Begeisterung beigetragen hat! Absolute Sauberkeit, liebe zu Details, die Ruhe und die Atmospäre des Hotels genauso wie Service, und natürlich die Insel selbst waren einige der besten Erfahrungen auf Sao Jorge! Super Frühstück! Jetzt träumen wir davon, zurück zu kommen! Um hotel incrivelmente charmoso e autêntico, muito luxuoso e decorado com muito bom gosto, em uma localização única com vista para o vulcão do Pico! Ficamos em uma suíte com hidromassagem, o que, claro, contribuiu muito para o nosso entusiasmo! A limpeza impecável, a atenção aos detalhes, a tranquilidade e a atmosfera do hotel, assim como o serviço e, claro, a própria ilha, foram algumas das melhores experiências em São Jorge! Café da manhã incrível! Agora estamos sonhando em voltar!

5 Stars all the way. Beautiful and stunning views. We were lucky to get the deluxe room away from the main house with its own jacuzzi and overlooking the open fields and a clear view of Pico island. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Loved it.

This was a great place to stay for 2 nights while we visited São Jorge. The staff was nice, the room was super clean, and the breakfast was very good.

This is a beautiful property. The 7 night stay here was excellent. The owners of this property went above and beyond. The accommodations were very well thought out. Great breakfast every morning. The pool and bar were amazing. You have a veiw to enjoy every day that looks at Pico and the ocean from every direction. We would definitely stay here again. Pedro went out of his way many times to make sure we had everything we needed and he went above and beyond. This hotel is a 5 star hotel. We are truly grateful for the hospitality he showed us. It was a pleasure meeting him and he was a true asset to the hotel and very accommodating. We appreciate all of the time you gave us.

This small hotel has a beautiful setting with a view of the ocean and Pico island in the distance. We were in one of the little “house” rooms away from the main building. Our large room was modern, with plenty of space to place our luggage. The bathroom was nice and also had plenty of room. We had a small deck with chairs in front of our room. The only drawback is the remoteness of the location. If you don’t have a car, it is a quite a walk to restaurants, grocery stores etc. The front desk helped us arrange taxis for us. Breakfasts were probably the least interesting of the 15 hotels we have had so far on this trip..
