During the night and early morning, it was very noisy. First, the guests in the hallway were talking loudly, and then the cleaning staff was also quite loud. My room was next to the elevator, so I could hear it every time it was used. It was annoying, but manageable for just one night.

The hotel is not bad but it's not the best. The location is quite good. It's a 20 minute walk away from the subway station but there's a bus stop which is only about a 2 minute walk away. It's also on a main road with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes.
I like the asthetics of the room -it really does make you feel like you're in Xinjiang. However, the furniture, walls, floor etc are clean but not well maintained so it makes the place look old and unkempt. The bathroom especially needs an update. I do like the amount of storage space in the room though.
I like the staff on reception. They were very helpful and friendly. Most importantly, they were patient in dealing with the language barrier. I was never made to feel like a burden when I asked for help.
