Revel Hotel des Moines Urbandale, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Great hotel for Drake Relays I stayed in this hotel on a trip to watch my son compete at Drake Relays. The hotel was less than 15 minutes from the stadium and everyone from checkin to the restaurant servers to the housekeepers were pleasant and friendly despite the high occupancy. The room was comfortable and I slept soundly each night after spending all day at the track. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved it

Michelle at the front desk was Incredible! She was so amazing and kind and made my two young daughters feel like they were VIP by taking the time to talk to them and ask how they were doing whenever she saw us. Her smile and warm personality made us want to come back! Hotel was clean and updated. Free water was a nice touch. Pool: We booked through Priceline and were told the property had a pool but didn’t find out until later that you have to walk to the sister hotel. It was close but still a bit inconvenient but not the hotels fault. Michelle again was kind and showed us right where to go. Food: The breakfast was great even for my picky eaters. We had dinner one night and it was pricey for what it was. The kids meal was $9 with one of the sides being potato chips straight out of the lays bag , I mean they put them in a fancy bowl but still. The listing said it included a drink but we were charged extra for the kids drinks. Would definitely stay again just eat elsewhere.

Could Be Better Let me just say upfront that this place has a pretty good breakfast bar and it's free. The things I would complain about is the TV remote not working, room temperature was hard to dial in, and toilet paper holder was broke. Other than those small items, it's a pretty nice place to stay.

We been to the Revel a few times on road trips through Des Moines. It allows pets, the facilities are great, it’s quiet, and the breakfast was lovely.
