Urangan Hotels with Airport pickup service

I stated at the Ramada for two nights when I was in Hervey Bay for a trip to Fraser Island. Overall, it was a pleasant enough stay. The hotel location is located near the esplanade, which is a quiet part of town about 8 km from the CBD, and has a few dining options within walking distance near the boat club. The hotel staff were all friendly upon arrival, the hotel room I was in was reasonably modern / well maintained (but your expectations should be set at ”regional Australia hotel quality” and not ”major city hotel quality”), and it has a on-site pool / restaurant (there was also a tiny 'gym' but it did not really have anything other than a cardio machine and some small weights). There was on-site parking, but the spaces were small and filled up very quickly when I was there (I didn't have trouble parking, but did find myself getting the final free space a couple of times). I had no real complaints about the place and would happily stay there again.

Location was good. A bit noisy from air conditioning units on roof from restaurant next door. Security hall lights outside are bright and window coverings in bedroom poor so lots of light comes in and makes it hard to sleep. Older apartments.

Another great stay at The Oaks. The realty wonderful clean , modern facilities easily make up for the current work on the pool. Not to mention the incredible ocean views and staff doing all they can to make your stay wonderful. I have never had a bad experience at the Oaks . We’ll be back in the new year. Parking right outside the rooms and a very friendly and helpful receptionist. The fan and AC in the room worked well and weren't too noisy. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and shaving cream provided.

Room was spacious and clean, pool area was nice and bbq facilities were good. Only negative was the wifi didn’t work in our room m.

good location, dated unit. balcony was great with lovely views, too hot in the morning but great in the evening, pool was nice and refreshing. biggest issue was no WiFi after ad clearly stating free WiFi (supposedly issue between Telstra and Optus). unit had dated and limited facilities no stove just a microwave, kettle and toaster. Ceiling fan noisy when working, and allocated parking spot had a Ute parking illegally in front a few times, which made getting in and out more difficult. All in all enjoyed our time, but next time will opt for an airbnb unit which in general gives better facilities.

The location is in a residential area, quiet, a bit far from restaurants, shopping and the beach. The room is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, you can wash and cook, and the network is good.
