We had lunch with family after visiting the town. The building is worth a visit and the owners have worked really hard to improve the hotel, bar and restaurant. Tasty food, pleasant surroundings and nice friendly service. The White Lion is a valuable asset to the town.

Lovely room , bed very comfortable and the shower was amazing , so powerful 😊 We had tea and breakfast in there , which was fantastic , such good home cooked food and plenty of it , faultless , seriously impressed , and the staff were very attentive

It was our first time staying at the white lion hotel in Upton upon Severn and we had a great stay... The room was fine and the breakfast was great... Our needs were all met and we were looked after well by the very minimal staff... Thanks for your great service... Roy Williams 👣...

We visited for a Saturday lunch with friends. The restaurant was very cold and the male staff member seemed very disinterested and unfriendly. The food was very basic. My friend had the creme brulee tart. Soggy pastry.. Although it has had a refurbishment since we last visited, we shan't be back.

We had a great stay here for two nights while we visited the RHS show at the nearby showground. Prices around this event are clearly higher, but we still thought it was reasonable value. The food was great and well priced. Our room looked pretty new and was really comfortable with an excellent shower. We found the whole place to be spotlessly clean too, always a pleasant surprise.

My wife and I had lunch at the White Lion a week ago. I had a chicken dish with vegetables and my wife had caesar salad. The chicken was reheated and tough, the potatoes had been reheated several times. The salad was poorly presented with very basic ingredients, again the chicken was reheated. When I complaint to a member of staff he was very disinterested . I would not recommend eating at this hotel.

Always a treat.Well worth a stay. We have stayed here before and found the food excellent. Plenty of breakfast choice and great bar meals. Room clean and tidy Very pleased. Walks along the river is lovely and a great meadow for the dogs. Always good

We went along to the White Lion Hotel for a group evening meal following the Kickback Show at Malvern. The communication with Flo at the White Lion was easy and professional. We pre-ordered our meals as there were quite a few of us. When we got there we pretty much had the dining room to ourselves and both the service and the food was exceptional. We were made very welcome and even paying the bill was easy as they had already split it up into couples. I would definitely return and the Classic Section of the HOC had a fab evening.
