Beudy Bach

We have just had a wonderful overnight stop at Beudy Bach. We visited with our two dogs prior to collecting another rescue from Many Tears. Perfect hosts, could not do enough to make us and our dogs feel welcome. The whole place is immaculate and our room was comfortable with everything we required. Beautiful setting and plenty of secure space to exercise the dogs. The breakfast of home made bread and eggs from their own hens was delicious.

So we have stayed before and confirm as with other reviews the host accommodation is as describe by many. However in the case of our 2nd booking the host was keen to deal direct for all the normal commercial reasons. I would point out on the first booking she cancelled our original booking and made contact asking we simply pay her direct when we arrive. However at 20 minutes from arriving the host advised she has double booked. As the other booking was via one of the normal booking platforms we didn't have any legal rights of challenge. At last minute she had arranged an alternative venue which was very poor, rooms used by smokers, cold showers and generally very poor arrangement, but had little choice at such short notice and the circumstances for being in the area. So the moral of the story, don't deal direct with this Host for a booking and use the normal platforms so you have some security, overall very dissatisfied and take note folks...

This is a lovely place to base yourself. Helen and Steve are very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is top notch. Very clean and tidy and everything in the room. We stayed in the double room ensuite upstairs which was fabulous. Breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. We have already booked to go back in October. Helen and Steve were fantastic hosts. Dog friendly, spotless, welcoming accommodation in a location that was ideal for exploring Carmarthenshire. We loved our stay. Lots to see in the area; we highly recommend the unspoiled Pembrey Beach.

My daughter and I stayed overnight and it was perfect in every way. First class service with a smile in beautiful surroundings. Lovely breakfast. We arrived very late and our hosts still welcomed us warmly.

We couldn’t of asked for better hosts and accommodation. Helen and Steve were so welcoming and even provided tea and cake on arrival when we couldn’t get in to the local restaurant. The house was beautifully kept and the trim was a good size and contained everything we required for a great nights stay. We will be back :)
