Days Inn by Wyndham West-Eau Claire

Hotel is easily accessible from highway and for the price point, it’s very decent. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Areas of hotel are older but it’s in the midst of a renovation. Staff is friendly and helpful, which is a plus at a lower priced hotel. Often they are not. Breakfast offerings and dining area were just OK. For an interim stop on a road trip, it’s good option, and they are pet friendly with a very reasonable $20 fee.

The bed was comfortable. The TV didn't work. The clock was loud so had to unplug it. The morning breakfast was dismal at best. The pancakes were terrible. There was no beverage (juice/water). They only had milk and coffee to drink. They only had over ripe bananas for fruit. I will never stay here again.

Would not recommend The common areas and room were not very clean. The room had dirt and debris from a previous occupant on counters and the bathroom was not wiped down/cleaned thoroughly. The breakfast area was not fully working, no coffee/juice options. The food was minimal at best. I would not return and would select another option if in the area again.

Find a more comfortable place with safer food Bed was very high for the 5'-1" traveler. She needed help getting into the bed, which was a first in years of traveling -- and embarrassing. The bed also was quite hard, which made for an uncomfortable sleeping experience and pains in her neck in the morning. The only "egg disc" that seemed to be at a safe temperature was the one at the very bottom of the dish. The rest weren't close to a safe hot temp of 140 degrees. Additionally, the waffle maker didn't cook the waffle mix completely, so the centers had uncooked ... milk? some dairy product? I spit out the one bite I took for fear of food poisoning. My granddaughter said the sausage and waffle she had didn't taste right. Only the syrup did. She ate before I did, so I couldn't warn her about the food safety issue. I paid over $100 for this stay. Never will go there again and will be suspicious of any Days Inn by Wyndham.

Friendly, helpful amazing staff. Comfortable rooms. Modernized. Quiet, safe and relaxing. It is definitely my home away from home when in Eau Claire.
