Welcome to our cabin on spectacular Lake Nottely "Union County, GA STR License # 001858" Warm up by the fireplace, firepit, or woodstove while you kick back and enjoy the lake channel views. When its hot - Swim, kayak, Paddleboard, peddle boat or take your own boat to explore. If you wish to fish, some of the best fishing of Lake Nottely is just off of our dock. We are just minutes from the Blairsville town square, 20 minutes from Blueridge, and 30 minutes from Murphy, NC. If you like to hike - the famous Appalachian Trail, breathtaking waterfalls (Helton Falls, DeSoto Falls, Blue Hole Falls, High Shoals Falls +), and mountaintop views (Brasstown Bald, Blood Mt. and more) are close. You can golf (Butternut, Old Union County), white water raft, tube (Pappy's), workout, swim in or outdoors, play pickleball, mini-golf, bowl, and watch a movie all nearby. If you need refreshments, wineries, distilleries, and dining destinations are close too. (Living Water Winery and Vineyard, Redtail Mt. Nestled in the woods, our three-level log cabin comfortably sleeps ten. It has three bedrooms and two full baths. Large living spaces on the main floor and the lake level ensure relaxation. Conversation areas are also available on the upper deck, lower terrace, and firepit. We offer Wi-Fi/Internet and five TVs. As you walk into the front door on the main level, you will know why this cabin is a gem. Your eyes will take in a spectacular 180-degree lake view that will make you want to stay forever. The open floor plan includes the Kitchen, dining area, and living room spaces, making entertaining fun. The Kitchen - is fully furnished with oils, spices, coffee, tea, a full pot/one-cup Keurig, large and small pots, pans, skillets, an air fryer, a crock pot, a blender, a hand mixer, baking pans, a waffle maker, plates, bowls, silverware, serving ware, and a bar full of glasses for your enjoyment. The Dining Area - includes a large table for 8. The island has 4 stools for dining, prepping meals, or just talking to the chef. The outside deck, with sliding glass doors, has a large grill, a smoker, and 12 additional place settings. The Living Room - has a comfy leather couch, loveseat, leather chair, and coffee table for relaxing while you socialize, warm by the fireplace, or watch movies. The foyer cabinet contains games and many wax melts. (Choose a scent.) On the lake level, inside, you can relax, read, watch sports, watch a movie, or play Xbox on the large screen while enjoying the comfy leather couches and chairs. The black trunk is full of fun games and warm, soft throws for your enjoyment. Snuggle up while you play games and warm by the wood-burning stove (Firewood is on the terrace). Also, if you are a pool shark, it is time to show off your skills on our 8 ft. pool table. The lake level sports a bar with a mini-fridge, wine fridge, hot/cold water, and a K-cup dispenser. There is a full-size coffee maker under the bar. There are bar tools, plastic, and paperware for your use. Behind the pool table, an armoire' contains lake towels, blankets, hats, bags, and misc. Items that you may need. You may also find toiletries like toothbrushes and first-aid items in the medicine cabinets and under the bathroom lavatories. If you sleep on the pull-outs, hang your clothes or lake towels from the armoire. Open the sliding glass doors and step onto the terrace. You can sink into the sofa and chairs or eat at the bistro table. Just steps away, you will find the stone fire pit for an evening of fireside stories and smores. (The marshmallow sticks and smore makers are in the kitchen pantry cabinet.) BED & BATHS Every level has a phenomenal view! Loft: This room has a queen-sized bed, a single pull-out sleeper loveseat, a dresser, an armoire with drawers, a TV, two office spaces, a reading library stocked with books for all ages, an elliptical, weights, foam rollers, a jump rope, and a mat. The closest cubby to the left contains baby items (baby monitor, pack-n-play, highchair, gates, small stroller). Main Level: This level hosts the Master bedroom with a king-sized bed, an antique fold-out chase - great for two small children or one adult, a TV, an armoire, a dresser, and a luggage and shoe bench. There is a full bath next to the Master bedroom. The stocked laundry area is next to the bath area on the main floor. Lake Level: has one bedroom with a queen bed, a small remote fireplace, an armoire, a dresser, a luggage bench, and a TV. The common area has a queen sleeper sofa, a twin sleeper sofa, an armoire, a TV, a kitchenette, and more. The full bath is located next to the bedroom. LAKE & DOCK On the dock, you will discover multiple-sized life jackets, floats, two paddleboards, two kayaks, A large swim mat, and a five-seater peddle boat. You must wear a lifejacket on any watercraft or risk getting a ticket from the GA Lake Patrol. The dock has a broad sunning platform, relaxing loungers and chairs, two benches, and a couple tables for early morning coffee, afternoon snacks, or a glass of wine. If you have a license (get online), you can fish right off our dock or take a peddle boat for cove fishing. Our cove is known for some of the best catches on the lake. On the terrace, you will find fishing rods, a bait trap, and a fishing box with lures. Inside, on the lake level, you may find a bucket of fish food to lure them close. Good luck catching the big one! Live bait can be purchased at the marinas or Walmart, only 12-15 minutes away. BRING YOUR BOAT During the summer months, you can bring your own boat at no cost. Jack's Creek public access boat ramp is just 10 minutes away. You can dock your boat alongside our dock, where we have installed ropes. If you need to rent a boat, three rental marinas are nearby. Also, some of our guests use the Boatsetter - Boat Rentals app. OUTDOOR LIVING This cabin hosts one large deck, one large terrace, one firepit area, one picnic orchard, and a dock area. The main floor deck has two dining tables, an 8- and 4-seater, a loveseat rocker, a bench, and chairs by the Webber grill and Traeger smoker so someone can keep the chefs company. (Please read the instructions in the Guidebook before using the grill and smoker.) The lake-level terrace offers one sofa, multiple chairs, one cooler bar, a bistro table and chairs, a Corn Hole set, firewood, fishing equipment, and a shelf for hanging lake towels and applying sunscreen. The firepit area is located just off the terrace. Feel free to use the firewood and marshmallow sticks for a night of fun memory-making. Sun by day or stars by night—Take a blanket and a flashlight or two and head for the dock, where you will see a star-lit night sky that will stay in your memories for a lifetime. (Union County has a quiet policy from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am, so please play the silent game outside after 10:00 pm or bring the fun inside.)
